I have always enjoyed the GW pvp maps because they always felt tight and close to the action even if it was a large map. Getting anywhere on the map never took longer than a minute and really kept the pace of battle right up there. Coupled with alternate routes and terrain advantages maps had many places to achieve different strategies like using the Guild hall as cover and rally point or perhaps spending a party of 2 to take out the guards while the main group of 6 assaulted the main gate as a distraction.
From the screenshots it looks like small, bit of a horseshoe map with one short and direct way or the long outer rim possibly with the buff/cap point. Might have to make the choice between fighting the enemy or fighting for the buff / artillery / whatever it might be.
I hope that Gw2 brings those feelings of strategic battles only with more awesome mechanics - can't wait to own you fine folks here.
