Been getting allot of questions, so I thought I should show a 25 min video on what the basics of what TERA is.
It starts off as the journey that TERA has gone through from opening till now, then it goes into how wonderful and beautiful the open world is.
The next part shows off it's action combat, and in the end it shows off the Christmas event.
Enjoy

So how exactly does this video help us, who want to know more about Tera, yet won't learn anything from this video because of the language barrier?
In Internets speak: Useless video is useless... unless you're Korean. :P
you can still watch it, and see how freaking AWESOME the boss fights are!!
it's like O_O /jawdropping AWESOME!!!
I really can't wait for Tera!!! =D
There are already tons of videos that showcase that. What I would like from an video entiled "TERA in a 25min video", would be a 25min video detailing me all the major aspects of TERA and when all the useful info is in a language the majority of us on this site don't understand, then the video loses it's value.
Well could you direct me to a video that explains all things TERA? I could easily do that to anyone wanting to find out about GW2, so I'd like someone to do that to me here.
That link does not look like a legit Youtube link. Sorry

It's legit. I remember thinking "Whaaaaa???" the first time I saw that url shortening.
pie.
all boss fights are freaking awesome in videos, when you are the one fighting the boss then its just the same ol same ol.
you must get bored easy then? =p
I actually am at a loss for words with that logic, he just said watching a boss fight is more fun than fighting the bo...what is this?
lol i guess its the same for people who prefer to watch their wife screw someone else instead of screwing her yourself lol
Did this game do well in Korea ? I'm curious because from my understanding it was not perceived well do to a bad launch. What does TERA stand for anyway ?
Grim Dawn, the next great action rpg!

Misleading title.
Good stuff. I am really looking forward to the Beta's and getting into the game. I really won't be able to fully committ to it until after July but then I should be full bore.
Why?
I believe at first it was badly perceived in Korea, not because of the gameplay or anything to that matter, but just because they didn't have enough content rolled out yet. There was not enough to do at the later stages of the game (Which to my knowledge they are working on rapidly) So that's a good sign.
TERA stands for The Exiled Realm of Arborea.
I already pre-ordered my copy so I will be playing in the Beta starting next weekend. I hope to capture some footage so I can show how things are working on the NA end - The test for me will be personally how it will run on my internet. It is nothing super fantastic so it should be interesting.
Not everyone is born with Youtube knowledge imbedded into their brain.
No need to insult.

I hear it is picking up again, but not sure if that is true. I played a bit on the korean version, and it definitely was refreshing and fun to play with my 360 controller for the twitch combat Standard PC controls worked absolutely fine as well, but I tend to like my hack and slash with a gamepad.
As for TERA it stands for "The Exiled Realm of Arborea"
Thanks for this - game looks phenomenal - i can't wait to dive into TERA.
I really wish the video used some actual music from the game though,,
This has been one of the games I've been waiting for along with GW2.. maybe not as much now that I've seen more of GW2, but if the only big difference between Tera and the typical grind-based MMOs is the combat system, I know already that it's not going to be enough for me. And frankly, the boss fights look kind of silly and I'm really tired of the cute anime voices. This video didn't make me want to play Tera anymore than I did.
And what's up with the little girls in thongs? That's kind of gross.
Why im not surprised that there are only female characters being played in that? xD

May this help: http://steparu.com/reviews/mmo-rpg-reviews/594-tera-online-review

Ok thank you for this. This is really the first time I've looked at Tera. I know a lot of people are excited for it.
Based on this info it's very PvE oriented. I can imagine if you liked Shadows of the Collosus, or even the newest Castlevania, this might be up your alley. The world reminded me a bit of Final Fantasy.
It is definitely not for me though.
Every boss fight looks the same in this game. A huge ten-story tall "monster" with 40-foot long claws and weapons swinging at tiny little players who are wacking away at said monsters toes.
I may give the game a try but the art style may kill it for me. 70lb little female characters swinging 10 foot long 400lb swords is a bit over the top and retarded, no matter where you come from.
