Was Craptic omitted on purpose?
That wins my vote, based on how many lifetime subs were sold and not held to standards. Next would be Turbine, for the same thing.

I'm going with perfect world. alot of the games they release or hold tend to get worse before they get better. now they own Star Trek online and Champions online.

After swtor I'd say bioware. Before swtor.. EA I guess?
Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:
A. Proven right (if something bad happens)
or
B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)
Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!

Just because you don't consider it doesn't mean it shouldn't be up there. Cryptic has, and has summarily destroyed, quite a few perfectly good games now. Having licenses to Star Trek and Neverwinter is not considered AAA? Then why would you consider Bioware who only has a measly Star Wars license?
AAA + MMO + Developer + Worst = Biowaste.

Well your poll is F'd from the beginning then because you say developer then list NCSoft (as publisher). Do you know what you're polling?
This is bullshizzle. I call it now. You have TRION on that list. Their first ever game. By your standards, it shouldn't be on there.

since this is only based on our opinions i voted Turbine as worst... but if i could say more than one then it would be Turbine, SOE, EA (including Mythic), Craptic, and the guys behind xsyon (because you dont charge for junk)
no. They aren't.
Also people need to realise that EA is a producer not a developer. they actually put very little input into the games they host. they are just in it for the cash, at this point every MMO cash grab has been successful that EA has thrown money behind. so really EA from a buisness stand point, Brilliant. From a Gamers stand point, Milking the cow for all its worth.

This goes to show you how well Trion has done and how amazing they have made Rift what it is today. Not a single vote for them is a great sign or a terrible sign for every other developer. Its pretty obvious which MMO is the currently at the top of its game and that is Rift.

I said the same thing to my wife about SWTOR.
Bottom line it's all subjective, compare Trions 1st effort to Biowares 1st effort in the MMO genre, make sure you take into account assets and $$$ available to each and look at the finished product.
Rift was good, all they did was faceplant out of the starting gate which (low and behold) EVERY game has done. now that they have worked up some steam they can really start pushing the game to be the best it can.
in my opinion they should have saved that WoW attack until 1year + area so that they knew they had a solid product. but them having balls probubly helped them have some funding early in.

There are more deserving developers on the list that's why, Rift is nothing amazing.
Turbine gets my vote. I have never liked the way they do combat in their games. I just find it very dull and boring.
This. Turbine gave us a half-baked LOTR game and the combat is just god awful. DDO isn't any better.
