TERA Gamestop beta codes- They have them

I called my local gamestop and asked about the Tera preorder/ beta codes. At 1st the guy didnt see them but after looking in the system he was able to find where they had sent out the " backup codes" the ones where if it doesnt print on receipt they give you.

So me and a friend of mine preordered while in the store, the beta code did not print out on the regular receipt. So I had the guy printout one of the "backup codes" for us both.

I logged into the Tera NA site, entered the code and it works. Game is ready to download and account shows as preordered.

They did not have the CE available for preorder tho, but can always upgrade later if you want. I just put $5 on Tera standard edition and got my code.

Good thing is if you dont end up buying the game any money you put down can be applied to another purchase.

Anyways just wanted to let people know.

    I was just at my EB Games here in Canada, a.k.a Gamestop.....I had them call all around the city, and apparently theres no codes at all.  They said I'm the only person who has even tried to get a preorder and beta code.  I searched google, some mmo sites, and the NA TERA forum, not even one person has said they can't get a preorder beta code.  Am I the only person from Canada who wants to play this game?  So I dont know what to do....not play I guess. :(

    I actually found a person working at gamestop that knew a little about PC games. Which is very rare in my experience. They knew where to look for the codes in their system.

    They didnt print on the receipts but he was able to give us the backup codes.

    You may just be unfortunate and not have any of the kids that work at gamestop know what they were doing. I had to email gamestop CS to get my TOR preorder code. The 19 y/o girl that was working that day had no idea what it was or how to get it. told me all those were on the reciept for stuff like that. when it wasnt she had NO idea what to do to resolve it.

    Now if I had asked her about the next Mario game I am sure she would have had a wealth of information o.O

    I can confirm Gamestop had them in Maryland.  They printed on the recept.  They give access to all beta's.
