GW release date announced

The international release date is April 28 2005. But those who have preordered this awesome game can start playing the game on 27th. Read the link below or go to guildwars offical site.

It also answers when the march and april beta weekend will be held, but it will be exculsively for those who have preordered the game.

    I can`t wait!!!!!! image thought they would put more beta weekends in the launch month..

    The schedule for the final three Beta Weekend Events follows:

    • February 18–20, 2005
    • March 18–20, 2005
    • April 15–17, 2005

    Yea, I was surprised they announced the launch date this early and that we still will get 2 more BWE's. And us Pre-Orderers get to play a day before launch! Once again, ArenaNet continues it's tradition of uniqueness to offer us more good stuff. I love them ::::02::

    I don't think I'd call it "early". It's been in development for like 5 years, and they were originally hoping to release before the end of last year. But it looks like the time has finally come, we're in the final stretch now.

    Great news. And it´s actually good from my point of view that it didn´t come too soon. Now I can complete my courses at school and start playing when everything is ready. Great news indeed.

    When I meant Early, I meant it was pretty early before the actual release date. Generally I see a lot of launch dates announced a month or less before it actually gets released, whereas the release date announced is a good 2 months and a half away.

    ...SOO MUCH I have waited for this date!!!
    I have been so pissed of that i nearly cried because ArenaNet have all the time moved the release date far and more far away.
    And now it finally feels like they HAVE a 100% promise realease date, and I don't think they have the brave to move it again, do you?

    It's still very far away, but in some way it feels more easier than before now.

    Just downloaded the movie and watched it with honor! I got totally stunned by the looks. O.O So pretty! Even leaves were falling of the trees, really liked that. ^.^

    Im gonna enjoy playing this went its out. ;D Well, duh, wont we all? xD hehe.

    Ohh boyyyyyyyyyyy its is soooo gooodddddd.
    I waited long time for this game!!!!
    and i got bored from playing savage all day every day and nothing else
    finaly a game i can afford... (no monthly fee :))!!!

    There are 2 facts i want to share with u:
    1) Doesnt matter how hard u try, u cant lick ur ellbow.
    2) 90% of the people who read it try to lick thier ellbows :P

    Finally a solid release date. I'm excited we only have to wait two months to experience the entire game! BUT HEY! only a couple more days till the Beta Weekend Event.. I can't wait.

    No 28th is the offical date. So dont matter what other sites say.
