I think Im gonna be the only one to say that but

For me it's the holy trinity removal

I have no idea why everyone is so psycked about it really

maybe it's because I always used to play Hybrid at all costs even tho I end up being less effective..

I think I actually spent way more time reading and theorycrafting about MMOs than playing them

Sidekicking upwards from 1 - max level I think is bad.

and having to wait for the NDA to lift when the media get there lucky ass hands all over it and report about it, I'm personally can't wait for Totalbisuits report on it... (thats if he gets a invite that is)

thats the least interesting thing? you better be glad they didnt spoil stuff with a NDA drop. imagine what SWTOR community would have felt if all the storylines were leaked all over the net

IM sure if alot of people saw the leaked storylines and gameplay they'd be $60 richer again :) and not so much the least interesting more of a i want it to hurry up so we can watch some more vidoes and so on

its one of the reasons Y im hyped for it, its different it changes things up and people have to fend for themselves and work with thier allies... its braking the norm that is the WoW/EQ curse of tank/dps/healer, how could you not like change?

Surely you should be the most excited for it then? Since every class is now a hybrid.

I agree it may be one of the least interesting things. Although I can see reasons for not doing it, GW2 apparently also won't have an extended economy, local market or any form of replenishable stuff like food, arrows or ammunition. I don't see a lot of people enjoy the game being a crafter.
We may as well get a pleasant surprise, but I won't count on anything.

GW2 will have an AH (accessible via a web browser, mobile app and in game), there will also be craftable food stuffs that provide buffs. While the crafted armour/weapons won't be any better than drops they will have a unique look and be equal to looted items, people wont be buying and selling based on stats but on the look of the item. Could be that there will be some rare recipes based on rare materials only found in dungeons, we don't really know much about the system as yet, too early to judge either way.

Yeah the ignorance is amazing. Just because you arent a tank or a healer, doesnt mean that you are pure DPS. Everyone is everything - and everyone needs to help each other out, not just watch as someone dies and go 'Oh the healer should have healed more' or 'The tank should have kept aggro'.

..Combat system looks cool in theory just like tera also looks cool, but in reality is a pain in the butt, there is nothing like the old fashion tab target system like wow, that imo has the best system for an mmorpg to be fun and easy enough to play and can be hard to master and become a fast skilled pvper.

I agree about the world PvP, I think a racial faction PvP server could be very interesting, but I doubt they will do it.

    I disagree about the rest.

    Edit:

Sorry, it would be the arena esport stuff, also tired of scenarios, but I have always found arena type 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 stuff boring in a mmo, I prefer open world stuff with objectives and such...If I want arena type stuff, I will play like MW3 or something like a FPS.

Then gw2 is not the game for you.

That is simply bull****. If the person you quoted doesn't want to play Structured PVP then he will still be able to have a great time in Guild Wars 2.

Ok, before anyone writes something like, there's no Marketplace or some sort of AH in the game please inform yourselves.

This guy wrote a perfect summary about Guild Wars 2 and its features. It literally has every information about the game and it's updated quite often.

Check it out and then post some fundamented opinions: http://www.guildwars2guru.com/forum/guild-wars-2-mass-info-t25557.html

not to be confused with something bad, I asked for "least interesting".

maybe at a later time, Anet can fluff out those areas that are found least interesting, before release.

Still some features left that i am really critical about.

-Underwater Combat..  I allways hated this in all MMO's

-No tanks/healers/trinity.. as those where exactly the roles i loved most in MMO's so far

-No gear progression.. I allways just loved getting better gear... I know WoW and others went over the top, but i really disliked what GW1 did with gearprogession. Something in the middle would have been great.

-No AA system.. that allows you to imporve your character copntinously even if at max level.

-No raids.. What could it hurt to add a version of the current Dungeons that requires more then one group of people, espescially with the current gear system.

And there are still a few others that i would like to see different... But all in all this is and has been for two years the game i have been looking forward too most. I don't say these things will not work for me, but i still am very critical about them.

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

Whats the least interesting things about GW2?

I do not agree with what quite a few people are posting. Many are posting what GW2 does not have in the game. How about posting about what is in the game that you do not like or what really does not appeal to you. Are there things that I would like to see in the game? Sure but there are other threads about this.

Such as for me I do not care about achievements or titles. That stuff does not appeal to me. Do I want it removed from the game? No that would be just stupid. People enjoy different things. Let them enjoy what they like in GW2.

Why? Eight years of experience of trinity systems throwing barriers in the way of players playing together. When so much of GW2's design is based on making it easy and fun for multiple players to enjoy multiplayer action together, it would make no sense at all to throw the trinity spanner into the works.

Indeed - the fact that the GW2 marketplace features buy orders as well as selling elevates it above virtually every other MMO, imho. EVE is the only game I'm personally aware of which has that feature.

From the videos I've seen it looks like you have to do it ALL the time. Seems like a false mechanic that just extends the effort needed for no reason other than trying to seem different, but the end result is exactly the same as a game that has every move on multiple hotbars except now you have to press another button inbetween sometimes.

In case anyone is wondeirng though, I don't think this because I will find it hard or it will stop me from playing. It's just something I'd rather wasn't there for it to be closer to 'my' perfect view of a game.

This is just from what I've seen so far though, I'll see what it's like properly once I have my hands on it. It may actually be fantastic.. but I wasn't impressed with what AoC did by adding extra things to press to get the same result compared to almost every other MMO.

would more easy if we at least could see the other skills and change to that weapon/stance pressing it and using the skill afterwards...(ez mode)

because while im not bad remembering where the skills are .........sometimes in the middle of the battle........

change weapon , check for the skill.....oh its 4.....

having the option to see everything can help :S hope its gets implemented (at least 2 bars )

At least if the game is not easy mode it will take longer to learn, thus the experience will be all the more greater when all the skills are learnt.

I would want longevity over easy-ness anytime.
