Hi all, don't want to make anyone think this being my 1st post that I'm some troll so a little introduction.

 

Played SWG for several years, finished the game when "connection has been lost' on Dec 15. I was on Starsider and my toon's names were -Me- and Boba-Surf.

 

Been in this forum several times but never bothered to register.

 

Anyways, I fell compelled to make this thread in hopes that some of my old pilot buds hang out in here and let you guys know if you don't already that a lot of us pilots will be playing another Star Wars space game coming out next month. It's called Freeworlds: Tides of War and it looks promising and epic. It's a mod from that 2003 game Freelancer but totally reworked and 100% multiplayer and 100% Star Wars.

 

I'm not going to do some spam looking advertisement trying to explain things but all you JTL fans are very much welcome to join us or just check it out. We have a couple of our own forums just for SWG pilots to keep in touch and cuss and discuss whatever we're doing now.

 

Hope to see you guys there, we are not done pew pewwing at each other by far.

Edit: Guess I better add since I looked at the 'don't talk about EMU or we break your legs thread'.

 

Hope I'm not breaking forum rules posting links but I'm sure to get slapped if I am. Tides of War is only a mod and this mod is F2P so there shouldn't be gray anything about it I think/hope. I believe Freelancer is abandon ware now by Microsoft now anyway.

Looks like a really good game. I'll definitely keep my eye on this one.

Wow that looks cool something I might get into but need a classic Tie fighter cause that be my favored flyer and I enjoyed flying mine in SWG:JTL with my Bounty Hunter or what he became after the NGE.
