High ping ?
Has anyone with a high ping tried TERA yet ? I have been itching to play this game but because of my location in the world (Barrow Alaska) i get a high ping around 600 in all games. This connection of mine is super stable and hardly ever bounces up or down, but with TERA being a MMOFPS (for lack of a better definition) I am worried about plunking down 50+ dollars for it.
Most games like WoW, SWToR, RIFT, and LoTRo are fine and i do great in them, main healing raids and main tanking, a few dps builds. I am very competitive in PvP, but thats all with tab locking/skill spamming game play.
So, i am very curious if anyone with a very high ping has CBT'd this game in any form, maybe those of you who played it on the Korean servers had a high ping, if so can you guys let me know weather or not to bother buying this game or to forget it because the lag prevents me from targetting the mobs properly.
I greatly appreciate any replies to this, i bet there are a few others out there in simmilar situations.

might want to try to use namebench(dns tool from google)it will find the one best suited to you and this should help your ping hopefully!
Help me find the best server ? or best game ? sorry i dont mean to not appreciate yer response, i do, but i am not sure what you ment there.

It depends what youre ping is, I know hundreds if not thousands(probably not an exaggerration, theres multiple English guilds on just one server) of people from NA/EU are playing TERA in Korea right now, many with 200-300 latency and are still enjoying themselves.
I played EU and i'm from Canada, didn't have any issues.
