Well it certainly looks like this player plans on raiding the caravan down there.
That image... lumber mill it looks like, mountains off in the distance, no keeps in sight (from that angle), ANet saying these are the largest maps they could make in GW2... the scale, it be grand.

Sounds good so far, glad they are taking all the core concepts from DaoC and making them better. Would kind of like WvW to be an ongoing persistent area (a'la daoc frontier) instead of a resetting battleground. But I guess they can't mix and match servers to fight against eachother with that scheme...At any rate, some of the best sounding PvP I have heard of in a long time.
Good luck getting those large scale battles working. WoW, Aion, Warhammer they all have been lagfests and the typical combat latency on anything larger than 15 vs 15.

BF3 64 person server wants a word with you. Especially considering the precision required in FPS and other factors that don't plague MMORPGs.

That is looking exactly as i imagine a modern mmo should be, can't wait to go in the Mist, i think thats one of the first thing i might do.
