MMO with the best PvP?

Hello all,
I dont post here often, but I've been without a game for a while now and wanted some people's input on what current or future MMO you feel offers the best PvP? I used to play UO when I was younger, then I played DAoC for a few years. I tried WoW, but I jsut couldn't immerse myself in it. Any input is welcome, thanks guys!

Shadowbane has good PvP, and also has a very fast leveling curve (can get leveled from 1-70 in under 5 days)

Not sure these days; However, you can find some sweet PvP action in the MMORPG forums.
Just start a thread with the WoW or EQ2 acronym in it and let er rip.

this game is a remake of original neverwinter nights, which i believe was the best PVP game ever. there's no substitute for turn based PvP. A lot of thought goes into it, not just mouse clicking. This game is in alpha testing now, so the numbers are kinda low, but it will soon be beta.
PvP: Hands down, Shadowbane. It really shows when a game is designed around PvP as opposed to game that threw in PvP as an afterthought.
RvR: Dark Age of Camelot. great system, i wish more games used it.

LOL. I find it funny that the guy with the Runescape cheating site tells people to go play PvP vs him.
Shadowbane currently has the best PvP...with DAoC Realms being fun in the long run.
Darkfall...if it comes out ....should mirror UO in a lot of ways...and Mourning has the ability to be great as well.

As a lot of people have said already, Shadowbane has some great PVP.
EVE Online is also a good game if you like PVP. Probably the best PVP experience you will find in the sci-fi genre. Some people say that Anarchy Online has some good PVP but I'm not too sure about that since I have never really played deeep into the game.

WOW hands down for me... And I have played DAOC, AO, Planetside, SB (YUK), ect
There is no point at all right now PVP wise WOW other then getting joy out of killing someone.. But you asked for the best PVP not the best reason to PVP or setup... Why I say its the best well its simple.. Ever class (to included) Warrior can kill any other class and has skills that usefull agiant certain other classes... To put it simple the game is really balanced to be so young..
WOW PVP makes you think you cant just go in there hot keying and pushing every button at once (well you can but people like me will destroy you). You have to think about your nme's skills, stregths and weaknesses and then use spells you have that will help you win....
Many will bash WOW cause right now there is no object of PVP.. But the PVP still is entertaining and can be very challenging... With Battlegrounds comming in the near future things luck to be getting even better...

there are not many games with great pvp..
the only i know:
planetside (science-fiction)
ww2online (world war 2, but with really realistic damage modells - in my opinion best pvp game)
neocron (mmorpg with level grind but fps gameplay)
face of mankind (mmofps with some kind of roleplaying and economic - current open beta unfortunately still not really finished)
all other mmorpgs like wow, shadowbane, etc.. have only decent pvp where u only click and watch the fight animations
lineage 2 (once you get past the level grind) can offer some pretty heavy pvp. there's nothing more awesome than watching hundreds of players in an organized castle seige. and there again you can just sit in the woods and someone will undoubtedly challenge you. lineage 2 is very pvp oriented. sometimes a little too pvp oriented...

Two words: Guild Wars!!!!!
I know it's not out yet, but the betas I've been involved with had some truely killer PvP. It's alot like Nox on steriods.
EVE online's pvp system has depth. and the game is largely pvp-oriented. noobs also find it easy to participate in it since fleets do require escort in the form of smaller ships (frigades or cruisers) some of which can be really cheap.
'Darkfall', 'Mourning' and 'Dark and Light' might all bring us what Shadowbane failed to provide.
neocron for sure. FPS style as WELL AS all the classic rpg style buffs and tactics - the only difference being that you're in full control, not watching your character do it.
Neocron = Best PVP by far!
