Bad news - EU TERA CBT , Stress test account =/= CBT account

Yep, its official now.

Whoever had luck to play in CBT will not be able to participate in CBT (unless he has beta priviledges)

:(

How did you think they could sell more pre-orders if everyone got their keys already ;)

Simple solution preorder the game now and get yourself a cbt key.

I did it myself last night and got my key this morning. :)

PvP server here I come! :D

    Some will never learn.

Sorry, but I think I need another weekend before deciding that. I will not preorder any game to get access to the beta, it is usually a trap.

Well for me it was a no brainer. I plan on getting the game in the end anyway.

And the minipreorder was only like 5 euros.

So that is why I couldn't log in and download the Europe patches and test the game out.

Weak...kinda wanted to test the game out before buying it.

MMOs Played: I can no longer list them all in the 500 character limit.

At first i thought I wouldn't be able to participate in NA CBT1, cuz no beta key was sent to me. I didn't give up though, I went to EM site / account downloaded the digital version of TERA from within my account and patched it. Then waited for the CBT1 date, I was really glad after that.   8)

Many were lucky to play pre-ordering TERA for NA CBT1, probably won't be the same for Eu though. I don't really know.

Hope for the best and Goodluck!

I don't know about Europe, but here in the States you can either pre-order from a gamestop (or local retailer) and only put down  $5. You will get a beta key for all upcoming events. However; even if you just flat out pre-order the game, they don't charge your card until release day. So pre-order, try it and cancel if you don't like it. You shouldn't be charged.

Put 5 euros down on it and you can play all the CBT and Open Beta. If you want a try before you buy kinda deal.

In the US i had to preorder from gamestop, which was $5 bucks for a code. Worst case is your out 5 euros after you get to play something like 10+ days of gametime. Not a bad deal IMO.

forgive me if i jump to conclusion but TERA isn't exactly in beta since the game is actually released since a year isn't it ? The only beta i could see is the english localization wich so far is pretty well done minus some gibberish sign here and there.

I thought about a temp preorder for EU myself since the beta weekends compared to NA are staggered so you could play every weekend until release. I've already preordered NA though so I might just test my patience.

As far as access in EU, Sneak Peek, single beta weekend invite, full access beta and preorder for all beta weekends are ways to play and they are separate. Same as NA minus the Sneak Peek which NA didn't have. Enter your email on the EU site and keep an eye out for key giveaways if you want into EU.

In NA you can either put 5.00 on a Gamestop preorder or preorder free through Amazon and try the game out, they have keys now. The reason most people get trapped into buying games they regret is that they get a few days to play before launch and the excitement of a new game leads them to pull the trigger. In TERAs case you get 16 days total to decide and that's if you play it safe and don't participate in Head Start before canceling since Amazon doesn't charge until it ships.

Just not worth my time anymore.
