Hm... Lemme think, don't really "know" what anime-y graphics are at this point...I'll just throw some suggestions based on what I think it means.
Now, for Action-y/fighty games you have the choices of
Grand Chase- 2D, Fast action (PvP) simple dungeons, fast leveling and a lot of characters (13-14) each character (bar 3) have 4 jobs, while the 3 or so that do not will have them in due time. Each character has 3 skills to use in combat (which can be changed via each characters skill trees) 2 characters have 6 skills, and the 4 demon characters have 5. You can change characters at anytime inbetween games, the same applies for jobs. There are quite the bit of tricks to master in this game. (This game does not have combo based combat...it is hard to explain)
Elsword- Grand Chases younger brother, similar to Grand Chase only it has a stamina system, Dungeons are a lot more entertaining since combos play a far larger role in this game. PvP is...different from Grand Chase, where one third bar skill (a characters strongest MP move) would 1hit ko you, that is not the case here. Similar to the demons of Grand Chase, each character has 5 skills and they execute them in a similar fashion. Skills can also be upgraded and changed out. PvP is mainly comboing the opponent and mixing your skills in with it. Elsword has superior graphic to Grand Chase.
Rusty Hearts- The graphics in RH are quite pleasing, I think they reach your criteria...The combat is fluid and the music is quite well done as well. Not much to say...I didn't really play it much but what I did play was very fun.
S4 League- Have you ever played Gunz? If so, this game is very similar. A 3rd Person shooter where the characters use guns, swords and such to combat each other. Characters can jump off of walls and the combat is rather fun. The servers are hosted in Europe though so expect some lag if you aren't there.
Now then...other MMORPGs
Mabinogi- A very fun game, "classless" as well. The most class picking that you do would be; picking a destiny, which merely enhances your ability to rank up skills in said tree, picking the Warrior destiny, for instance, would make it easier to train warrior skills and give you some better stats upon leveling. You can change destinies by rebirthing your character (which you can do every day until total level 100, and then every 3 weeks after, as long as you rebirth at 17, for free) The combat is like playing rock paper scissors (depending on which combat style you use the most) Worth a try, seeing as you can hit 100 total in a short amount of time, which should give you a good feel at what the game is something like.
Shin Megami Tensei:Imagine- The combat is similar to Mabinogis but the skill system is more indepth. If you are familiar with the series, this one takes place between the First and Second games, it also stays true to the series in that you can capture demons to use as comrades in battle. A fun game with some bugs (last I've heard), if you enjoyed Mabinogi but not its setting or what have you, try this out.
Eden Eternal- Ahh yes, another fun one. In this game, you can change your job on the fly, and there are quite the amount of them at that. The system is similar to Final Fantasy Tactics in that, if you want to become a...lets say Samurai, you need to have the Warrior class at...45 I think and another class or two at a certain level. Leveling classes is easy seeing as there are two levels. Your "character" level and your "class" level (cannot recall the names) your characters level levels up at a slower rate than your classes, and your class can never excede character. So, getting to the cap (50 iirc) is harder the first time with one class than it will ever be with another.
Flyff- This game, short for Fly For Fun, is most indeed fun, the second online game I have ever played. It consists of 4 Classes, each branching into another class, which then has another advancement, making 16 or so classes in all. You have your basic classes, Knight the 2 handed sword/axe using tank, and Blade the dual wielding DPS. But you also have more interesting classes such as Bill Poster, the self suficient DPS and Jester the assassin style yo-yo wielding class. The grind can be pretty...tough depending. It isn't too hard hitting 60 (2nd job change) but I cannot say much after that.
Trickster Online- A 2.5d game, similar in many ways to Ragnarok yet it still keeps itself rather entertaining. The game have 4 base classes, which vary slightly by gender. When one hits...60-70 I think they can change jobs. Afterwards they can then change to one of two choices. Pure or Hybrid, pure continues you down your characters path, Hybrid teaches you the skills the of the opposing genders 2nd class. The game is super casual (especially with certain party setups, such has having one of each class doubles exp gained) and very fun at that.
La Tale- 2d side scroller. The game have several class choices, although you do not get to advance until 80 (trust me, it isn't what you think, 80 is easy to get) You pick one of 5 classes in the beginning and you invest points into one of the trees, at 80 you pick whichever class you would like. Every class has two choices (one may have 3...don't really remember) except for Engineer. Some classes (such as the thief class) have 2-3 different weapons they can use, so there is still a lot of variation among the classes. Then, again at 120 you can change to your third job, pretty much an expanded version of your 2nd, but that isn't the best part. There are sub classes, at 120 you can do a (long) quest line to obtain a sub class based on the your career path. Such as, Gun Slinger (One of the explorers job change choices) will become a duelist, which Subs into a Blade Slinger (Gun Blade ftw) Where as Treasure Hunter ( the other Explorer choice) goes to Ruin Walker, which subs to Rouge Master.
Other games that I haven't really played enough to recommend, but heard that they were nice
Well then....I believe I am done here. If I remember anymore I will be sure to post them. I wish you luck in your endeavors and I apologize for the massive wall of text.
