Possible for Slayer to be a good solo class?
IF I touch TERA's US release it'll be on one of the pvp servers. With that said, I've found that PvP servers tend to close off into their own "clicks" in order to be "better than everyone else".
Due to this sad realization I've found that in past MMO releases with PvP servers it's more beneficial for me to play a class that is both heavy in utility, survability, damage, and soloability.
However, after watching the videos from this thread about warriors I'm curious if a properly played Slayer could achieve the same results? There's just something about a tiny woodland animal (Popori) swinging around a sword 3x his size all the while having to shift his bodyweight in order to wield his weapon.
Thoughts?
ps: There is such a massive game lull going on right now I'm willing to fork out $60 even for TERA just to find some enjoyment. However, that warrior thread along with those linked videos has slightly shifted my eye on TERA from negative to slightly LESS negative 
. You can't do what that Korean did in WoW, Rift, SWTOR, or other Linear WoW-clones. Thus, my position has slightly shifted.

Slayer is a pretty good solo class, pretty sure all melee are good solo, well lancer is just way too slow. Slayer definally has higher out put than warrior but a bit squishier. However done right slayer a really good solo pvp and pve wise class. Probbly better result because slayer is a dps class to start with unlike warrior which is tank/dps so you kill things even faster. Ofc you can't tank like warrior but your soloing so that doesn't really matter.
Slayer is a viable solo class and also does quite well in PvP however on a PvP server id recommend finding a group because leveling alone might get tedious with them gankers on the loose.
This is something i believe many will learn the hard way. And also i would say slayer has potential to be an extremely good solo class, its fast and it has the highest dps currently IIRC:
i think hell awaits any player wanting to use them as a solo class. for starters, they leave a world painted in blood behind them everywhere they go. they expect to reign in blood, but they haven't spent one season in the abyss. sure, they have undisputed attitude, but without divine intervention, you wouldn't show them no mercy, so pretty much i think they'd fail as a solo class.
Berserkers are top dps in optimal situations. Slayers are more consistant dps and is a favorite amoung melee pvpers due to its wide damage radius (read: lots of fast aoe) and mobile play style ala warrior dodges. That said one of the things I noticed in the recent warrior video is players reliance of the warriors shadow ability to draw aggro when his dodge ability is on CD or there are simply too many mobs to take all that damage straight up. I would say this is what really seperates a warrior's ability to solo to a greater extent that a slayer. Higher DPS is great but not when the damage output is greater than your ability to survive and dimish it. Just food for thought.
