Hello.
I would like to point out that it is no longer 2011, so the (est.rel 2011) tag needs to be updated.
According to one of the game's news website: archeage-online.com, they are in closed beta till at least march 11th.
Thanks.

GW2 is about to come out man and you're are worried about ArcheAge? [Mod Edit]

That type of info is usually given to this site by the developer/publisher, release dates etc. I don't even think they have a NA/EU publisher yet for this game, so MMORPG.com can't really estimate when the game is going to be released. Guess it could be changed to est 2012.
don´t expect it untill 2013 soonest...
I physically hurts me to type this, but I have to agree. Maybe even 2014 before we get a North American server.
It's just to bad the world is ending December of this year.
Never trust a screenshot or a youtube video without a version stamp!
Pretty much, considering the game hasn't even finished the beta testing in korea, we have a very long wait ahead of us. It's best to not follow the game religiously and just let things progress. I'm not even sure if it has a firm release date in korea yet.
Instead of waiting, learn Korean might be faster.
Ofcourse we are worried about AA, because as we all know GW2 is yet another themepark and AA is something way beyond that.
Shouldn't compare mud to marble
Like I said in another thread, I'm starting to think that if they haven't found a western publisher yet, it's not because westerners aren't interested but maybe because XLgames is so confident about their game that they're asking for a ridiculously advantageous publishing deal (for them).
I just can't believe that not a single western publisher has approached these guys yet, the game just looks so freakin awesome.
Oh dear I'm starting to sound like a fanboy
They're waiting for it to be published in korea and china 1st, they're in no rush as of yet.
Yeah but I heard Russia already has a publisher. How do you explain that?
Who is going to publish it in the West without seeing how well it does first? All the major publishers have their own MMOs that they're pushing right now. All the big budget Asian MMO's we've gotten have been from NCSoft, and we know NCSoft is probably not going to publish another company's title here when it has its own flagship titles to push.
En Masse had to be formed to get TERA published in the west. So until the Korean version is released I don't think there will be any news of a western publisher picking it up.
