Question about GW2 Server Types

I didn't play GW1 but after reading & seeing videos of GW2 it looks like a fun game I would like to play , My only question is is it just PVP ? or do they have PVE servers

 

I have never really been a PVP player & for good reason "I suck at it"  I panic & most offten I seem to hit everything but the enemy  :)  plus bening not that good at PVP I would get ganked alot & no matter how you look at it thats now fun .. well maybe for the ganker it is.

    Every server is PvE. If you want PvP you have to go to battlegrounds and WvWvW.

    A couple minutes of research would tell you all PvP in consensual. If you don't want to PvP, stay away from WvW and Conquests.

    There won't be any PvE or PvP servers.  There are areas that are specifically PvE (the majority of the maps in the world), areas that are open world PvP with some PvE (Eternal Battlegrounds), and instanced PvP (Conquest).  You can join instanced PvP or Eternal Battlegrounds at anytime through the Mists.

    The main world is PvE only, in "The Mists" has all the pvp in the game, and its a separate zone, like going from kalimdor to outlands

    Arenanet builds a game with both PvE Zones and 4 openworld PvP zones... All on 1 server type...


    Maybe theyll add a preferred RP server tag to a few servers, but i even doubt that. Arenanet builds one product to fit all
