Hello,
Yes, this is not a bug - it is advertising. If you wait 3 seconds a link will appear in the upper right corner which will allow you to continue to view the screen.
If this offends you and make you want to leave - then I guess you will have to leave. This site supports itself by advertising.
At least we do not endorse pop-up ads or flash over-lays.
