Simple comparison of preset for the game Tera online. I will also make 1 video (once I get a amazing looking fxaa config) using the fxaa injector which I have featured in many other videos of mine.
Those with low end rigs who still want the Tera feel should use preset 2 as it has most of all the bloom/lighting as well as a decent draw distance. All the presets from there just seem to adjust lods/draw distances and minor effects.
Hope this is helpful to someone and I also hope your all enjoying Tera if your in

Thanks for making the video ^^
np. Took like 5min to make, yet I couldnt find any on youtube yet so BAM! Hopefully the FXAA injector makes the game look even better! We shall see.
Some people were complaining about it not being sharp enough, if your force AAx8 on your cards control panel and change lighting enrichment to 1 instead of 2 it becomes much sharper.
I prefer to play this way.
tera ... a pedo's wet dream )
And a Anime freak like myself...
The game supports crossfire ? or is enabling /disabling CF makes no difference in FPS?
Just tried this myself. AWESOME! Everything looks MUCH sharper and the bloom and color vibrance is still there THX
I dont think it offically supports it yet. But using catalyst 12.1 or radeonpro software you can make custom profiles and get about 20%-40% positive scaling. Once we get some offical profiles should expect to see full 60-100% scaling.
Is it just me, I dont notice any highres textures, it looks the same as the first beta weekend. I guess my pc is to high spec I get the same fps as before?
Same as me
That or any Sears catalogue.
Where's the lighting enrichment setting? I don't remember seeing that in the options?
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
you need to have advanced options clicked instead of Preset
Ah, thanks. Not sure how I missed it. Only saw a small difference between 1 and 2, but major difference when I turned it off completely. Almost liked it best that way, but couldn't decide. World looked less vibrant with it off, but it removes too much contrast and shadow when it's on.

Not sure why people always want to compare vs other games. Its a comparison of the ingame settings. This is useful for pc users who dont have tera yet and want to see the kind of flexibility it has for the settings. Also with the wipe to the next settings it is more simple to notice the change.
I always let my gf make my toons, she will spends hours on 5 slider options lol. Whatever gets her playing games right And yea im very happy with the ammount you can downgrade the games settings for less beefy rigs. Dual core and 4850 and she runs on preset 3 without issue. Im currently maxed with x8 AA and testing out the FXAA injector from Skyrim
