We need this game to set a future standard of what gamers should tolerate in the future.

    Cant await release.

ill gladly pay usd200 and a monthly fee to buy this game and to let the developers continue their

    fantastic work.

    Go go go.

(agree with some prev.posters, tha mount looks simply like childish crap (like another character in GW2), else GREAT).

Because GW has a massive following. So GW2 will be the top of the hype meter until it launches.

I was looking foward to GW2 but the more I hear about it, the more I see its just going to be an instant gratifacation easy mode MMO. AA seems to be adding much needed challenges back to the MMO genre.

I agree with others that mount looked kind of silly........ But that will in no way shape or form stop me from playing this game. Hot pink pony mounts wouldnt stop me.

Waiting for:EQ-Next, ArcheAge (not so much anymore)
    Now Playing: N/A
    Worst MMO: FFXIV
    Favorite MMO: FFXI

The one new mount looks like the traditional Foo Dog, which wouldbe really cool.

Will enjoy this,TSW, and GW 2.

Though unlike TSW and GW 2, I haven't played it but it seems very promising though.

I might get banned for this. - Rizel Star.

I'm hearing that...it is amazing how much the developers are putting into this game.  It seems with each new video we get more toys in the box!  :)

Honestly nothing I can complain about in this game besides the combat, however I fear it will not find a EU/US publisher.

This game just simply looks amazing. It looks far better then anything comming out now or in the future. I know this is a Korean game and Aion is like the biggest mmo there but its good to see they just had the guts to do something different rather then make a clone. This game will probaly be the game that actually puts the mmo genre back on track and pushes it into the future.

Just stating the sad truth, however I'm sure we could find a way to play in Korea should that happen. :]

    I hope it is :)

The girl says they are "shining" series crafting stands, from which you can craft special items/gear otherwise impossible to craft using the public crafting stands in town.

Now what would be really could would be if they had large, non-linear, open dungeons with traps, secret doors, locked chests, locked doors, interactable switches, ladders, mazes, pits, and a whole slew of things to once again make dungeon crawling something exciting and not just a loot run.

This game... this game,  makes me happy with every fcking video. It's seems to good to be true,  but then you start to see the actual gameplay videos made from actual players and everything seems to work, everything seems so good. Only the combat feels the same old, but from all the videos the combat's ones are the least interesting.

Sailing, house bulding, diving, ship bulding, tree climbing, farming (the actual farming), skydiving... and the most important of them all an Open Seamless World.

If they can create a great economic system and a good PVP system this game will be the dream of almost every mmo player.

And the Asian culture stuff just add to the game, i do like their style. But i wish the male characters were more... male. But i'm ok with it, its like everyone is an elf.

Man, i can't wait for it to release here.

    An example of the work they are doing, here are the Google Translated patchnotes from the curent weeks patch that go with the above video;

    http://archeagesource.com/topic/496-cbt-4-patch-notes/page__st__40__p__9732#entry9732

    Key points seem to be...

-Swim fins increase swimming speed +50%

-added crafting tools that can be placed in player homes, item upgrades can only(?) be done on these

-Item repair removed from npc vendors and added as a player craft skill

This is pure speculation but it's very possible that XLgames is waiting for the asian release before even starting to negotiate a western publishing deal.

Why make the deal now when sandbox games are out of fashion and concidered "risky" in the West? No, if they're a smart company, they'll wait for the game to be a smash hit in Asia before talking publishing rights anywhere else, that way they can get a way better deal, with a top drawer publisher. That's what I would do.

They would do well to take a lesson from FFXIV regarding this.

FFXIV launched with this concept, and almost everyone really hated it.

Nowadays, in ffxiv, the NPC can restore your gear to 99%, but you will need a crafter to restore it to %100 so that you can resell it.

And by then the graphics may be shabby and outdated and there will be a new game on the horizon which everyone will lust for.

Look at TERA.  Once championed as the best thing to happen to MMORPG genre in terms of combat, and now everyone is so tired of it before they've even played.

Nice, I find it cool that you need repairing as a player skill. : )

Sorry to contradict you, but this is not really accurate. The only way to repair now is by synthetising 2 items together. So what they actually added is an item sink, something I think is needed for an healthy economy.

Oops, Going by what I can read out of the translation. They seemed to be saying it could only be done at stations in players houses, which I read to mean done by players.

    Duly chastised. :)
