So, I've been keeping my eye on GW2 for some time now (as I always do with new releases that are at LEAST worth looking at), and I've heard from MANY gameplay videos lately from those press betas about how WvWvW is simply annoying to say. Additionally, the reason why people simply don't say "Realm vs Realm combat" or "RvR" is because SOMEHOW Mythic has that phrase copyright for DAOC? I'm not even sure if that's possibly to "CopyRight" a phrase like that.
Anyways, I felt it'd be a neat thing to try and find a better coined term for World vs World vs World combat other than "WvWvW", because quite simply both terms sound terrible.
Ideas ?

We just call it "World v World". Nothing special is needed. Not as if people say "Realm v Realm v Realm" for DAoC.
Oh I know! How about Wv3 since thats what a lot of people are already calling it.
Whatever form is chosen, I think it should accentuate that it is a 3-way battle and not the flawed 2-way one.
Mists.

I don't see why it should matter, since it never mattered with DAoC. Those that care about Would v World already know it's 3 server-based and not 2. Anyone even midly interested will find out fairly quickly, as well, with a google or youtube search now.
How about
PTP
Player Tripart

HOW about ! Red team VS blue team VS green team Battle royal, or RvBvGBY
I think honestly World v World works fine. I think some ppl might say RvR when their in game or Vent, i know ill prob slip a few times and call it rvr. But its what ever catches on in game i suppose.

I'd just call it Triad PvP
Because it makes it easier to mark the difference towards different failed 2-way systems. Everyone doesn't read the forums on a regular basis and even if they do, they don't always know what to search for.
Hell, we still got a significant amount of posters who believe that they can judge GW2 based on their experience with GW1. I can only imagine that number being even larger among less active forum-users.
An informative but yet easy to write term, would be ideal.
But in the end ArenaNet have already declared it "World v World" (WvW) and the community is slowly adopting it.
So ArenaNet is a god that can do no wrong? XD

How about "World PvP?" It is a term most MMO players are familiar with and the GW2 WvW PvP shares the same principles for having fun as other forms of World PvP in other games.
With Extra WubWub? I gotta say I chucked at this one !

"Did you hear? GW2 will have MWC! (multi-world combat)"
The official term is WvW.
