So here is what is kind of wierd. I warned them on the pts that if they did not drop the prices of the Balloon pets that people would do this. In the next few phases there are dailies that reward like 10 prize tickets per, so this is not nessecary.
Oddly enough noone is complaining this is a grind fest. This does make me wonder if that "all of a sudden" hotfix #7 tommorow will not have the note "credit for popping balloons is no longer given in Raids". I could easily see that note happening.
I am just not sure it is intended, eventhough we did advise them this was possible on the pts.
From my experience no one seems to think of the grind in a negative way. It is all fun and games when you are doing it, trash talking, making jokes and bragging about how long you have been jumping for.
The main joke is that Trion has a contract with a keyboard company and this is a way to have people break their space bars.

Do players under 50 get experience for this, or is it just for tokens/rewards?
For some odd reason, this was incredibly fun to watch. Probably the best-spent 3 minutes of my day.
But then again, maybe it's all 'cause I've had a little bit to drink.

The new hotfix has not changed this.
