I enjoy WoW for now and the $15 a month is pocket change, come on it is 50 cents a day, if you're worried about $15 a month then viseo games should be the least of your worries.
But its 15 bucks a month plus $90 from box and expansions plus blizzard store
For me, the best part about Guild Wars 2 are the developers. Anet is a great team, and best of all they are not Blizzard.
I'll pay 50 bucks every 3 months for an expansion worth playing, rather than 15 bucks/month for something like 4.3. Do WoW players even realize how much we are paying for the 4.3 patch? It will be roughly 10 months of 4.3 before the next expansion.
Imagine if a cash shop game offered 8 Easy Raid bosses, Wardrobe Feature, and another Bank for the low price of $150!! The QQ would be endless. But since its WoW and a Subscription game, this is ok? I don't get it.
I look forward to getting away from Blizzard and their games. C'mon GW2!
You can apply your statement to most P2P games, not just WoW, I played WoW back in the days, its not a bad game just the developers are greedy, If players were prepared to pay for it then obviously they will turnout content for players to spend money on, you and everyone else would of done the same thing if it was your business, so you really cant blame them for grabbing peoples cash while they can.
As for you last line of your post, you are not forced to stick to Blizzard products, plenty of other games made by other publishers to be had.
