My I.P. was region locked for the BETA so I couldn't play and test out their customer service and servers.
Experiencing NA Aion early stages after the beta was a nightmare when it comes to bots, latency and other types of customer service hiccups. It totally made me regret playing under NCSOFT WEST as I subbed and played for about 1-2 months after the free month and then I quit.
My question for those who played the BETA - Are you happy with EN MASSE's customer service and overall performance?

the servers seem pretty stable through cbt 2 during cbt 1 the first 2-3 hours had some issues that resulted in a sever crash. they still have not figured out how to smoothly allow people to change from one server to another without having to completely log out and back again.
customer service has been pretty good so far there have been many reports of good responce times and favorable outcomes with little to zero hassle. in regards to bots and such thing that is impossible to predict short of launch. most likely there will be bots and gold seller and spam and hopefuly they will keep on top of it but it's almost impossible to get rid of it completely.
En Masse has been some of the best customer service of any company, I would put them ahead of Trion at the moment.
Theyve been making changes each BETA regarding our specific feedback, the servers have not been laggy and customer support responds with a personal response within a day, impressive for a new company.
But Frogster...I don't know about them.
EME customer service is very good. I mean even big companys don't have service as good as them. Freaken T-Moblie and AT&T (arg fcking hate them because calling them about anything takes like ahr) So far all my tickets get responded in less than a day and thats during CBT when people spam tham tickets. They have changed guild war system for us, also the pvp system and added PvE, PvP, and RP servers. Which in korea there is no difference. So looking forward to the changes ^_^ The next big thing will probably be LFD tool since the EME forum is getting spammed by it so pretty sure they working on it.
EU CBT2 had a server list option which worked.
Chronoscrolls will starve out gold sellers.

Gold sellers will find a way. I've already thought of a way for them to beat out Chronoscrolls, so I am sure they can figure it out.
Ya its pretty much impossible to get rid of gold seller unless your game require no money or gears and everyone lvl super fast. Not much of an mmorpg anymore there XD
There are bots for TERA. Therefore gold-farmers will be able to sell their gold for less than what players do, Chronoscrolls or not. The point of Chronoscrolls is to provide a legitimate compromise that lets people turn their money into in-game gold, without having to worry about being banned for it, and without cutting the developer out of the money loop.
On-topic, I've been overall very impressed with En Masse's efforts so far. Even one of my bug reports, on an almost completely inconsequential typo, had a response within half a day. They've also been putting together a lot of help/explanation literature on their website, which will likely be a lot of help to those who take the time to read it. I'm optimistic, at this point.
A Modest Proposal for MMORPGs:
That the means of progression would not be mutually exclusive from the means of enjoyment.
i don't ever recall seeing bots in the NA cbt. I imagine it would be difficult to create bots for Tera as well since its not a tab targetting and requires the bot to know where the enemy is to aim in that direction....

Botting behaviour should also be MUCH easier to spot in Tera given that while it's possible to make bots for a game like this, they're a lot more limited in what they can do exactly.

The NA Beta this past weekend I must have seen at least half a dozen bots, mostly just standing around at resource nodes.
It wasn't as bad as Aion, but it was just a beta and it'll all get wiped, so who knows what will happen once the wipe is no longer pending.
Please do not discuss bots or other 3rd party programs.
Errr what the hell? People are just expressing their opinions and stating facts... Not allowed anymore?
Want to know the huge large scale difference?
En Masse/Blue Hole gives a crap. NCSoft Korea? They only want our western money.
Not convinced enough? Watch.
En Masse actually REPLIES to your support ticket. They DO NOT reply as an "automated" boring message. They actually communicate with us which makes me feel very welcome. I feel like, I am included. They have A LOT of commitment towards the players, from their own built forums, TERA Answers and even their blog/patch notes have funny jokes and puns!
TERA, from excellent customer service to an amazing ultimate action combat.

How do they compare? I've heard good and bad things about them...
