Help using ranged weapon

This is a stupid question but I can't seem to get a ranged weapon to fire unless it has a spell with ith.



I just got a bow for my warrior but I am not able to use it or rather I don't know how to use it. I have equipped it. I am a warrior and she is eligible to use it.



I put the bow on my hot bar -- but clicking on the hot bar icon does not fire it, click on a target does not fire it.

How in the hell do you use a bow or gun in this game when there is not spell or effect associated with it.



I see the same problem with melee weapons - apparently you have to right click which I find unnatural after EQ2 -- I am a left click person but there seems to be no way to change that.



But can someone help me get this fucking bow to work.

For a warrior it is basically a stat boost and not practical. If you press P and click general I think its listed as ranged auto-attack. Might be able to use it to pull things but overall its not very useful except for its stats.
