Is this another thread where someone who doesn't understand Star Wars lore is complaining about Star Wars lore?
Ok. Just checking.
Sure I've seen Jedi use blasters in the movies, but I guess I didn't as they are incapable of understanding how to use one. Just like the Sith race must be the same thing as being a Sith. Nightsisters can't be force users either, as they are neither Jedi or Sith, and some Jedi must have been riding the missle that destroyed the Death Star as Luke couldn't have used the force as he's a moisture farmer.
I find it extremely funny the amount of people who come in here and pretend to understand SW lore and then say Bioware is breaking it with this update. Let me guess, all saw the movies and instantly are lore experts right? Theres massive amounts of examples out there of people that could use the force, who did not use lightsabers. hell even if you did want to use the movies, Luke used a blaster for the majority of 2 of the three movies before he used his saber, Leia never used a saber once in the movies but later used...oh gasp...a saber with a red crystal, which if I recall a week ago people were saying that no non sith used red, so dont even get me started on that and that it was lore breaking as well to see a Jedi with a red saber.
Do some reasearch on the EU before you come in here saying that Bioware is destroying cannon, start with Mara Jade for instance.
So you don't find that hundreds of sith purebloods suddenly showing up on carrick station a bit.... jarring?

One last thing before I go: When was the last time you saw hundreds of people from any race on the station?
I want a mmorpg where people have gone through misery, have gone through school stuff and actually have had sex even. -sagil
tbh i don't care about pureblood jedi and all that legacy crap.. I want real proper space combat which isn't onrails and repeated-"lets use the same scenario's and make them a bit harder".

Implying that everyone and their mother will reroll sith pureblood, seems like there are going to be quite a few new race options and not that many people like how sith pure bloods look.

Umm Saturday night, about 1am EST - Fleet showed 138. Yes I know thats not technically hundreds with an S, but its more than 100.

Also more than a populated WoW server typically shows in Org. Guess it must have more players than WoW.

until then, BW ain't getting a penny from me.
And I want an AT-AT that shoots ewoks !
Just to stomb all the lore nerds...
BW already have enough from you, I bet they are reading here and laughing there ass of the hates who already payed them their fancy new sport cars.

And they were all the same race?
That was his question.
Oh no, I'm sorry. I didnt see that it was a trick question designed to be impossible to get a yes answer. My bad, please disregard.

Not sure how "how often do you see an abundance of one race" is a trick question.
I myself rarely see too many of any given race on my space station, its a rather mixed bag of races...
How about anyone else?
That is ultimately the point, there are claims that "hundreds" will roll Sith Purebloods, ruining the lore and killing the game. Well, what are the odds that "hundreds" or even "enough" people will roll any given race to make you feel like all you see is one race?
I feel like this game (SWTOR) does a good job of making all the races equally acceptable and desirable to play.

tell me how you can actually prove that 100+ people on fleet at any given time are of the same race? Come on, lets hear it. And no, the question I answered was not your interprutation of the question as you wrote here, it was "When was the last time you saw hundreds of people from any race on the station?" To which you further clarified as ALL 100+ HAVE to be of the same race. So....lets hear how you would prove 100+ people on fleet are all of the same race at a given point in time. I say its not possible, hence trick question (can not have a yes answer), but you may have a way I missed.
Oh and just to clarify, the original question I answered specifically stated "last time you saw hundreds of people from any race". Now if it had stated specifically "last time you saw hundreds of people from a single race" then I might not be so critical of your jaw jackin trying to make things out of something they are not. hmmmm interesting, might look up this legacy system and see if I want to play another month.
Stuff the Star Wars lore, star wars was never about what is define a jedi or sith,
I honestly can't believe a jedi can't just pick up and use a flamethrower, or a force sensitive person being a profession other than jeid or sith. Now this is immersive.
GJ Bioware.
This. I'm sick of Lore making Ip games suck. Sod it. Open this can of worms nice and wide. Enough to make all the SW nerds squeal in pain. Lore broke for me when I saw that a speeder bike from 3000 years ago looks exactly like the ones in Return of the Jedi. This is an MMO with Genuine Approved Star Wars AssetsTM. Lore be damned.
There is NO miracle patch.
95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Guys, calm down. That was a rhetorical "I think I'm funny" atempt at humor. Just a self depricating jab at the "lifelessness" of TOR from a fanboi.
Sheesh, tensions are high today, it must end in "Y".
I want a mmorpg where people have gone through misery, have gone through school stuff and actually have had sex even. -sagil

Star Wars is the most befuddled bunch of bullshit "lore".
1,000 idiots have had their hands in 10,000 pieces of literature churning out drivel for over 20 years now.
And because of this, now all the fans have their own separate ideas of NERD VOICE "WHATS CANNON!"
Waste of time talking about this shit.

I think SWTOR is trying to be a people pleaser MMO. Thats a problem. You cant please the people.... so game goes downhill.

I'm still waiting on Teras-Kasi Ewoks to make an appearance.
