in Guild Wars 2

Does anyone know if Guild Wars 2 is coming to ps3? I heard alot of talk about NcSoft and Sony having an agreement. Im hoping their agreement insured us Ps3 Players some MMORPG fun. Just like everyone else, Im very excited about this game. I will play it on PC but im really hoping there is some chance it will come to Ps3..

    There is talk of it coming to a console, but no word on what console or when.  So at this moment, dont count on it.

    I think it will come to the new nintendo Console...

     

    As it will be the only console with a controller fit for mmo's.

    Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

    Very highly unlikely - I wouldn't bet on a PS3 or Xbox version at all (if ever)....

    PC is way better anyways, I never understood why people want MMO's on console platforms /shrug

    Anet have said that they considered a console version. But that means that even if they decide to make one after the game is out we are talking about 2 years or so to make it.

    But Jeff Strain who is the first lead designer of GW2, who made the engine and draw up all the basics is currently making a real console MMO. The game is called "Class 4" and while it´s currently is developed for X-box you should check it out.

    It will be pretty different from GW2 but it is really on the top of my list for MMOs sub wise since there is no Wow on X-box. It is the first console MMO actually made with the consoles strenghts and weaknesses in mind instead of a lame port.

    Yeah, but the steam box is more or less as PC anyways.

    don't have to build PC (very daunting), cheaper, convinient, plug and play, no installation, standarized(graphics). . ., list goes on.

    Could work given the limited number of skills at any one time. Would have to use voice chat in groups though. Hopefully if they do it they put it on a different server to PC players.
