These graphics look bad IMO. [Mod Edit]

Maybe I'm spoiled but after watching this video, I am extremely underwhelmed by the graphics/textures in this game.  Also there is something wrong with how he runs, just doesn't look quite right.  I mean I'm not expecting MMOs to have the best graphics, but the textures on that guys armor look like they are straight out of DAOC or some 5-10 year old game.  I really hope Anet is going to fix these graphics/textures.

    Maybe link the video your talking about? Looks like pretty high end graphics to me from the HD videos I have seen. Though your probaly just trolling in hope of this post hanging around the forum with your negative description.

    I am not going for the bait, but when i got my handson experience the gameworld felt alive and thrilling with some of the best art ever seen

    Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

    Clicking on the OPs name brings you to a page where you can check his latest posts. It seems hes trying to find fault with GW2 since Feb 28. All his posts are on GW2. Time to move on.

    You cant say anything about the graphics right now until the game is all polished and officially released.  Bugs and glitches will be fixed. And as far as I know, what game has ever had perfectly polished graphics in its beta stage?

    I know what you are talking about, have seen some videos with what looks like missing armour textures (just plain colour with lighting) and some very basic looking spell effects. I wouldn't worry too much though as place holder / missing textures are pretty common for games still in development (even this close to release).
