So is the free trial that Vanguard offers in fact only limited playtime? I dabbled with a few classes, did some diplo and was going to try crafting and now it says I need to subscribe to continue playing. I tried to post on the VG Forums to ask this question but apparently unless you have an active account it wont let you even post. Even under the account support forum. Lame.
Doesnt seem to make alot of sense that the trial would be limited since you cant leave the Trial Island.
Am I missing something?

Its a limited trial, 7-days I believe plus you can't leave the trial island. Its not endless to lvl 20 like WoW & Rift are. So yes you have to pay if you want to continue playing.
