Message from the Founder
Have you ever wanted to be a part of the gaming community that not only owns face but does it alongside friends? Have you ever wanted to be a part of something bigger than just a "Clan" or a "Guild"? If so, VexX could be just what you are looking for...a multi-gaming community with the goal of increasing our gaming skill while having fun with friends.
Mission Statement
Our goal is and always will be the focus of PvP and player progression. We strive to be one of the best and to remain at the top of the food chain in a fun and professional manner. In addition, we aim to always have a great time with people that do not care about the unwritten rules of the community. We believe in maintaining an environment that focuses on combining player excellence with a solid community. We do not settle for being average.
VexX Gaming is a gaming community that works to find like-minded players to build team of professional-level (and in some cases, actual professional) gamers. If you are looking to not only HOLD territory in this game, but PWN it, then look no further...VexX is the place for you. Over the course of a few years our clan has evolved. Our outlook has changed (as well as our name), but our core members and concepts have not. We've have had experience in almost every MMO out on the market and we know what it takes to reach our goals and be a top competitor wherever we go. We currently have a number of divisions within our MMO branch (such as SWTor and Tera Online) and our FPS branch (such as BF3 and MW3). We also have an RTS division for games such as League of Legends. Currently we have a strong member base in each of these divisions.
Structure
Our structure is pretty simple and direct, but here is a run down or the ranks.
CEO
Head and founder of VexX Gaming. He is the overall leader and has the final say in any clan related matter. He is also responsible for the focus and direction that each Division Leader takes for the game they are currently in.
Executive Officer
Helps maintain overall balance and keeps things up to date both in game and on the forums. More directly focused on game events and progression in both our MMO and FPS divisions.
MMO Director
Has direct control of operations in all MMO games VexX takes part in, making sure that all Division Leaders have all the tools to maintain a successful environment. Also responsible for helping with recruitment and overall progression.
FPS Director
Has direct control of operations in all FPS games VexX takes part in, making sure that all division leaders have all the tools to maintain a successful environment. Also responsible for helping with recruitment and overall progression.
Division Leader
Divisions Leaders are responsible for the overall command of their game. They ensure that the path is clear, and the tools are available, for any member under their leadership. They set up in-game events and keep a record (if required) of the progression of players to ensure that everyone is keeping up and on target (and to assist those who are not).
Community Member
This is a full member of VexX who has proven themselves to be of value and to be a good fit with our community. They have the full right to join any game we play and a have full vote when a clan voting matter arises (such as admissions of new members into the community).
In-Game Division Member
Division Members are players who choose not to be a part of the overarching community, but play with VexX as members of a clan/guild/team/league within a single game. They do not have any voting rights, and have restricted access to community assets (TS3, forums, servers). Typically division membership is the starting place for any new recruit with the option to apply to the community at any time.
Recruit
This is a player who is in the process of becoming a community member. Such a player member must prove to the current members that he/she will bring pride to the VexX name.
1. Head to http://www.vexxgaming.com
2. Register for a forums account. Various circumstances can cause registration to be locked or restricted. If that is the case, post in this thread to let us know you are interested and we will manually start an account for you.
3. Apply. There are instructions in the application forum for you to follow. Please make sure you follow them!
4. Keep up your application. We do have an application process, during which time your application will be voted upon by the current members. You will be expected to participate with other VexX members in-game. In addition, you are expected to maintain a presence on our TeamSpeak server and on the VexX forums during this time to allow us to judge your overall fit with the group.
5. Final decision. Based on the feedback from the current VexX members, the VexX leadership will make a final decision regarding your application. If you are not accepted into the community you will (potentially) still be allowed to play with us as a Division Member or as a guest.
Other requirements
1. Must use TeamSpeak3 and have a working microphone.
2. The time and ability to properly fill out an application (simply saying "because i'm uber" is not enough).
3. Don't be a douche.

Hi guys we are excited for the release of Guild Wars 2 and I hope to be playing this game for quite a long time. Check out our website and feel free to talk to any of our members.
VexX has also created a separate branch in GuildWars 2 dedicated to tournament play and e-sports:
The VexX E-Sport division is a separate branch of our Guild Wars 2 division dedicated to professional gaming and tournament play inside of Guild Wars world. Recruitment is very selective and has very specific requirements from each member.
1. A member must be able to Dedicated 4-6 hours 3-5 times a week. The ability to scrim or be available for organized practice on Monday, and Wednesday (there is a possibility of another day to be added as well).
2. A member must be able to theory craft, respec for the needs of the team, keep up on forums and class discussions, and to stay informed on all aspects of the two professions you are to play.
3. Must be able to communicate over voice competently and understand battle coms.
4. Must be willing to play your alternate profession or to play a spec that you don't usually play.
5. Must be willing to play on a Central server.
Each member must also be willing to attend try outs (conquest and WvW), in order to evaluate how they are able to takes direction, how they respond to specific situations, and how well they play with the rest of the team.

Still looking for fresh meat! Come get your feet wet in Esports. Not many teams do open recruitment.
Great to see so much interest in VexX including a couple who are applying for the E-Sport division. Looking forward to some great things.

We are also hoping to give out a whack of GW1 plat and ecto in the near future to help with people's HoM before GW2's launch.
Getting people to 30 on their HoM has been a great sucess and we're still plugging away with a few more.

It took a while but we have the numbers from the last weekend testing event and wow, what a great showing.
Over all we gathered 13309 in Influence which is currency guilds spend to purchase boons and other guild-wide upgrades. This is amazing and very successful for VexX. PVE provided us with 6732 influence and PVP was 6577, very close on both accounts and great job to anyone that was Pvping as there was less of you I think and you put great numbers up.
Looking forward to our next chance to get together and enjoy the game again.

Been having an absolute blast with VexX this weekend. I've spent my entire playing time in WvWvW along with my fellow members. From running supply depots to keep sieges it's been nothing but fun. It's also been great to see 20+ members consistently on and grouping together for some real good times.
Last night was capped off by taking a stronghold and quickly following up with stealing an orb, done entirely with VexX players.
I also know the E-sport teams have been really striving to dominate the tournament play and have come away with some great victories. Shout-out to my boy Xirony for taking that division and making it great.

We're going to hold another contest in the original GW and we be giving away a bunch of ecto as well as a ton of in-game gold. Check out our website for more infoz.
Also wanted to give yet another shout-out to XIronY for taking on the Anet Dev's a few times on the weekend and being able to take them time each time. Irony is working on a vid using both the Anet stream vid as well as his own to show one of the battles. Looking forward to it.
Had a great time with our original GW contest. Hopefully all of that plat will help people get some of their HoM title up towards their goal.
Also we hope to have another TF2 night soon. All are welcome so come and join in on the fun.
Stress test on the 27th. Though it will be limited and only for a few hours I am certain people are excited to get on just to get their fix.
In the meantime we have a bunch of people killing time with LoL, Diablo 3 and Arma II with the DayZ mod as well as a handful of other games. Get in-game with us and meet the VexX community.
We have finally been blessed with a release date! Time to take time off work and stock up on the essentials, gin and energy drink.
Ever so close to launch.
Looks like our ESport team has 2 full rosters and are possibly considering a third team for launch. Looks like we turned some heads this last test and we hope to carry on that success into launch.
