I cant believe it.First Diablo 3 release date and Now Baldur's gate anouncement.This is probably my favourite gaming day after so many fucking years.

wow, I am actually excited to see what they announce in a couple hours.

Nice, I really hope that they are going to announce something good. Continuing of the baldurs gate saga would be great.

I know plenty of people who are really looking forward to what this announcement could be. Just remember, we know nothing about what this product or item is that they're revealing today, which might not even be a game. In the situation that it is a new game, and not just a rehash rerelease or something of that nature, be prepared for disappointment.

I can almost feel heavily breathed spittle through clenched teeth hitting me in the face from rabid fanboys while I type this, but I hope whatever it is comes to ps3. I hate using a mouse to game (and most games on PC suck with a gamepad).

Due to the success of World of Warcraft. We the makers of BGO have decided to follow their model in an MMO based out of the BG universe.. lol.. You know I have actually never played any of the baldur's Gate. I used to hear about them all the time from friends. Just never got into them. Dont know why.
I still have Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, NWN on old CDs from years ago. Great RPGs I thought myself, I had a great time playing them. The graphics hurt my brain now but they still are fun.
I hope it's truly iconic, and I trust the developers to know that my hero doesn't want to waste time doing unheroic things.

Its going to be the release of the new Baldur's Gate plush dolls in addition to announcing a new iphone app in which you get to run a tavern in forgotten realms and must keep your patrons happily drunk off mead and women.
Truth, Farmers have been having issues with giant beetles eating their corn.. Please go out and kill 10 of them to help reduce their numbers. Come back with proof and you will be rewarded with 14 copper and a greeen item.

Your opinion is the minority opinion, BG series along with Icewind Dale are RPG classics, even if you don't like them.
I just hope that they have bright yellow exclaimation points over there heads so my puny brain can figure out that they are offering quests. I also hope they do full voice acting so I can skip through it in my quest to hit endgame in under 48 hours.
