So basicly there is 3 different servers fighting against each orther.  I got couple of questions about it..

is it instanced area?

How do you join fight and when its possible?

Do you play with your own character, or some "premade"?

Do you gain any orther benefits than bonuses for server? (such as some items)

Will it be little like WAR's RVR, like "warband" attacking keep and you can shoot attackers from walls

Thanks for answers :)

    1. It is zoned. So not instanced but a seperated Zone, more or less like DAoC.

    2. Dont know exactly.. Portal or anything like that. Then you will most probably in your starter keep, similar to DAoC.

    3. Own charakter, but sidekicked to lvl 80. You got the HP/DMG from a lvl80, but not the skills.

    4. Mostly Server and Guild bonuses for conquering keeps, towers and the like. But everyone you kill will drops stuff as any other PvE enemy. So you get xp, equipment and money.

    5. Like WAR, but a little bit bigger and with 3 factions.. well more like DAoC. WAR was a little bit short with their RvR in comparison to DAoC(precessor of WAR). So yes, warbands, shooting from walls, attacking walls, catapults and all that stuff.

It is not an Instanced Area, because of its persitent nature. I like to think of it as a seperate server, where thousands of players from 3 different servers come together to fight across 4 zones, over a 2 week period.

You join like this and this video also explains that you play with your own character (just bolstered to level 80 stats).

Yes, you can gain XP and loot drops from mobs & players, that are level appropriate (your true level).

Yes, it will be kind of like WAR (the way you described), however your server only accumulates points for Holding structures, not Capturing them.

Watch these 2 videos to get a much more in-depth overiew on it.

    okay, thanks for advising!

But how does servers work? Are they like in WoW, where you choose 1 server and play there if you dont want to pay for server change, or like in Runescape where you can change it always you want?

You can change your pve server at anytime but the server you chose for Wolrd vs world  will stay the same unless you pay for a change

When you choose that WvW faction?

Because I want to be on same server, or in GW2 case on same WvW pvp faction with my friends

Servers will be a cross between Guild Wars 1's Districts and WoW's Servers. Where you can easily & freely visit another server and play their to PvE with those of that server. However your Home Server will remain the same and you can only WvW for your Home Server and gain benefits from your Home Server. In order to change your Home Server, you must pay an unspecified fee (most likely Real Life Cash).

WvW faction = your server. Just choose the same home server as your friends.

It'll be account wide, meaning all your toons will be on the same WvW home server and will be created there, so I'm guessing it'll be chosen on account creation.

What can men do against such reckless hate?

That makes sense, otherwise everyone will just switch to the winning server and there will be no competition.

Some great ideas in this, destroying the supply trains so that the castles can't repair or build, so that it isn't necessary to attack a keep with hundreds of players, just wait until they can't reinforce or rebuild. True seige.

    is it instanced area?

Yes, there are 4 HUGE instanced maps, each server has a home map where they have some advantages and 1 map where it's equal for everyone.

How do you join fight and when its possible?

You enter by opening an meny in you'r UI. It's possible to join WvW at any level. WvW will be up 24/14 > Then a couple of minutes cooldown for new match ups.

Do you play with your own character, or some "premade"?

You'r own character with your own gear, although you are kicked up to level 80 with slightly reduced stats. Plus you will not get any gear/traits automaticly.

Do you gain any orther benefits than bonuses for server? (such as some items)

Nothings confirmed other than that players drop loot which is allmost the same as drops in PvE. I guess there will be some rewards you can unlock as well.

Did not play WAR. There will be sieges and there are walls you can stand on, so yes you can attack the players attacking if you are in range.
