Theia has done a lot of good things for the game, both inside and out.  Good selection, in my opinion.

 i think theia was the best person sv has for the role, cant think of anyone better tbh. Hopefully though the CM will actually keep active with the community and not ignore them.

Rohn?  There were rumors floating around on Sandboxer.org that both you and slappy were made into mmorpg.com moderators and were told to just never post on the Mortal Online forums again.  I guess that was just a rumor.  While Mortal Online is an excellent game, the greatest sandbox MMO currently on the market, GMTheia was fairly poor at handling the hardcore trolls that still linger on these forums.  With the new Awakening expansion in April GMTheia is going to be VERY busy.

You say that as if it is fact and not subjective opinion, when it is actually an opinion shared by very few people who have played MO.

You really should not label those with differing views as "hardcore trolls". Just makes the moderators work more difficult.

 

GM Theia did put in a very poor performance though, not sure I know of any other company's CM being banned from forums I frequent.

By personal experience I would say Bathory is a fine candidate, but what do I know, maybe he/she been asked and declined.

Theia won't do jack (lolz to puns), not because he/she doesn't want to but because GMs just do not have enough tools to gather the actual hard evidence to make the proper decision when it comes to duping and exploiting.

Even when, by some sort of miracle, they are able to gather all the needed info and make the right decision they are ultimately unable to lay down the law because SV doesn't want to lose subscribers.

hence, GM are not able to bring down the hammer. all they can do is throw arround a few 24 hour bans and remove the most obvious of the duped items. everything else it's a "he said, she said" scenario. it is the sad state of MO, and it is why they will never remove dupers or exploiters from the game.

The topic is about him being made CM, not GM.. but I agree he'll be absolutely incompetent. A CM that gets banned on other forums, trolls, insults, doesn't know the difference between PR, news and advertisement.... represents SV very well.
