err clearly you dont know arenanet, they have a strong presence in the mmo gaming community, they regularly post on sites especially guildwars2guru, do interviews with this site.. you think it would be hard for mmorpg.com to setup a filter at the request of the game? dont be naieve.. there is a whole list of people who have already been outed.. just saying, why take the chance at all?
Edit - btw, they have your IP from when you signed up, finding out who you are isnt rocket science

You cannot be in violation of a Non-Disclosure Agreement you haven't signed. By definition you have to agree to it. Telling someone you simply received an invitation email is outside of the scope because you still have the option to decline the terms altogether.
This also doesn't conflict with ANet's Facebook starement, because at the time you receive the email you do not have a beta status to share (presumably). Saying you got an email inviting you into beta is ok, saying you are in the beta is not.
You could still argue it's better not to say anything at alll because it's in poor taste etc., but saying you got an invitation is definitely not an NDA breach.

I'll take this opportunity to repeat the info on what they said on Facebook Sunday. The invites will be going out over the next few days. So, we have a few days to anxiously hope for a beta invite that may, or may not, ever come. Double edged sword, since there is still hope, but those are going to be a long few days.
Also, I agree with the point you made. For fans who are going to pre-purchase no matter what and not require a trial to make that decision, if we don't get into the March Beta, we at least can guarantee a spot in the April beta and any other events they have. Considering how long we've been waiting to get a taste of the game, another month won't kill us. (I'll still be sad though)!

Nothing in my 30-40 emails i signed up, used 3 different pcs 1 mobile gpu, 1 ATI gpu and 1 nvidia gpu. i covered all the bases... even 1 AMD cpu. All with 4-8gb of ram.
No invites. So it's all good. I am not gonna pay $100 or $140 like on realpoor.I offered $30 and that's it. I won't pay more than that, some guy tried to scam me on email. But obviously i did my research.
$100 or $150 for 1 weekend? If i can afford that. I'm gonna head my ass to berns steakhouse every weekend instead and if you can drop $150 for 2 to 3 days of beta gaming. You better be living high on the hog so to speak..And even then why are you buying gaming beta's? I'm sure you could do much more than that with those funds.Like feed some poor people.. It's like that new million$$$ real estate show on tv, i forget the channel. This woman was selling their apartment she had SH1Tons of clothes worth probably hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars in 1 room, how can someone be so greedy? HELP PEOPLE if you're that rich.
