Yes, EXPLORATION, same, and same question.

Also crafting looks interesting to me.  Other than that I'm looking forward to the quests in this new quest-form they've taken on.

It's hard to pick one area when the whole thing needs to work and fall in your own set of personal preferences, but I stick to what I said before:

    1. Minuatae is most important = deep combat system: Dynamic, Versatile, Variety, Deep, Team-based, Aesthetically Visual

Lol I hope some of these threads and post where posted in 2010, it'd make more sense at least.

Any way as whole I just can't wait for the game, I'm excited to try WvWvW but the PVE is what caught my attention in the first place.

No I disagree. This is different than any other release in the past seven years making it unique. The game wasn't meant to be sliced bread but the entire fresh loaf.

PvP for sure. I still play GW1 for my PvP fix to this day. Now GW2 will have DAOC goodness added, whats not to love?

If you want a honest answer? I am looking forward to GW2 taking all the elistist away from games like Rift, TOR, and WoW. I think I speak for everyone in these games when I say we are sick and tired of pvp'rs ruining pve games with pvp tacked onto them.

If you think I am wrong look at where most of the qq for Rift and TOR come from. Look at WoW and see where there qq comes from also. One game after another. I think this is the one time I am happy where a game will take away a segment of the playerbase and honestly ArenaNET can keep them.

I pity the sorry S.O.B. who has to moderate the GW2 forums. It will be brutal when you take the biggest qq'rs in the mmorpg community and stick them in one game.

If you want examples..tons of changes, but 12 pages of qq over a heal nerf

    http://forums.riftgame.com/public-test-shard/305844-1-8-progress-set-1-3-16-12-a.html

Pick a thread and find more qq

    http://www.swtor.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=76

^ It never ends. Just endless bitching and qq from pvp'rs. PLEASE TAKE THEM GW2 I AM BEGGING YOU!!!!!!!!!

Well I actually agree with Pure about the forum part. That's why I probably will stay way clear of the official forums when the game releases.

I'll just use the wiki for any game news

It would be great to actually play it.

I picked "Adventuring Potential (e.g. Jumping Puzzle Video)". Mostly because thats something I've wanted in MMO's for some time now. Everyone can run through a dungeon and kill stuff, but when theres traps and jumping involved it requires some thinking and tactics which I find to be alot of fun instead of just running and pressing 1-2-3-1-2-3 ect.ect.

Another thing I am looking forward to are the play-able races/classes. Ever since GW1 Beta I've loved the Charrs and wanted to play one.

I agree with you! Also, I wish there were more games with puzzles like Eye of the Beholder and Bane of the Cosmic Forge from way back when. Pressure plates, pitch black areas where light spells or a torch is necessary, teleport traps, wall darts, etc. You don't get that in newer games.

For me I've played many new and old mmos and wow was the only one able to holdup attention past a year. That to me is unfortunate. I've never been drawn into the hype or been patiently waiting (yet excited) for a release of a new mmo, and usually only end up getting it some time after release. Except for now, GW2 has me excited for the release because to me it appears to be a game where you enjoy playing the game and not rushing to the end so you can then play the game. Also, I want an mmo that challenges in both pve and pvp. @Dream_Chaser awesome post was a good read thank your. Adding on to your care bear part, people who think its going to be care bear need to go watch the dungeon video. If it stays at that difficulty, which I hope it does, they won't be calling it so care bear. Either way this is one MMO I'm actually looking forward to for many reasons and not just one or two so I'm hoping it delivers when I get a chance at beta or release.

My prediction is GW2 forums will probably set some kind of standard for the most insane things you have ever read on the internet with overblown fallacies and made up things. It will drive Guild Wars fans insane some of the request you are about to see.

Hell we have not even seen the "ZOMG WHERE is player housing" threads or "zomg GW2 = DAoC 2.0, so we need true RvR!!". It is going to be insane and personally after a year of seeing "f this game I am waiting for GW2" I am happy it is so damn close.

Had to go with dynamic content.  If I play another MMO where the NPC's have question marks and exclaimation points over their heads, it will be too soon.

Dynamic content is by far my largest interest in GW2.  Looking forward to seeing it in action.

That record isn't easy to bet, the net is full of trolls....

There are player housing BTW, you get an entire city block instance. But yeah, I also think the foru, will be bad.

The worst thing is that P2P MMOs can close off access to the forum for people who isn't paying subs, here can they troll until they get banned long after quitting.

I am looking forward to chainmail bikinis, revealing female toon articles of clothing and jumping like a jackrabbit high on crack cocaine.

I am also looking forward to the math nerds numbercrunching every variable of every ability to every trait in combination with class crossover abilities. So I can then make myself sound educated and "leet". Thanks Math Department, you're the best, Swedish female Olympic ski team members are waiting outside with a shiny. new scientific calculator as a reward for your hard work.

Lastly, I am looking forward to the opportunity to play a game that has 3 faction pvp, limited grind (oh how some will miss that hamster wheel) and chainmail bikinis.

Now if only the guild and I could own our own airship and pirate around Tyria like a bunch of Mongols my MMO life would be complete.

One doesn't join the Maths Department. You are selected after a grueling process called Math Club where the weak and ineffectual are weeded out from the Ubermensch of mathematics.

But the first rule of Math Club is you DO NOT TALK ABOT MATH CLUB...
