Compilation of "GW2 MAPs" to be more precise:
I'd like to assume that most.. like me, want to know and see how big the world of GW2 is, from a maps perspective...As I couldn't really find any info, pics, etc on the main web-site or here for that matter.
For those that care, I found -
Seems to be quite BIG! Keep it in mind its unfinished and only a portion of the "World of GW2!"

The more I search and discover about GW2, the more I thirst and crave for its release!
..I play everything..

I tried to count all the zones (based on the small numbers telling you the level range) and I got cca:
24 zones + 6 city zones
It's "cca" because Im not sure I counted all of them (I only found one sylvari and one asura zone, which seems rather unprobable) and two zones that had only one number, not lvl range..so they might be dungeons..
So we might get something around 30 zones at launch and by the looks on the map, they all seem as large as the low level areas

I think I actually spent way more time reading and theorycrafting about MMOs than playing them
There's actually 26 zones in the game right now. Have a look at this thread where someone posted a really nice map and summed up all the different zones.
Here's a map based on the latest beta: http://i44.tinypic.com/5edcfn.png
I worry about loading screens.
Why? We already know that there will be loading screens, but these areas should be large enough so that we don't run into them that often. Would it really be so bad if you run into a loading screen once every couple of hours?
As someone who's played the game for 80 minutes and encountered all in all only the loading screan you get after you're done with the tutorial, I don't.
Fear not little one. I understand that there are portals between regions, such as between the Charr and Norn lands, but zone to zone is wide open. This world is huge. The rare portal won't put a dent in that.
Oderint, dum metuant.
Oh nice! Thanks for the updated maps and info guys...Cheers!
GW2 is looking very promising, but does anyone know if you can pretty much travel / explore between and around the zones (whole map) that are not marked on the map? I'm thinking yes...
