Seems like no one notice but guildwar2wiki has updated some of the traits lines. So now we can see at least see the minor traits in each trait line. Their are suppose to be 12 major traits, so they are some trait lines that have incomplete info. It is nice to see what to fully expect from going deep into one of the trait lines.
I finally get to see what arcane and trickery do (the elementalist's/thief's traits). This new info has really messed up what I wanted to do with my trait lines. I was thinking of doing a crit/condition build but now that is messed up. For my theif I see that trickery gives you a ton of initiative for spike damage. The arcane minors gives fury and more conditions so now I am confused as to what I should spec. Need survivablity and spike damage for my pvp build.

TBH I really dont see the point in making any build until the game is out of Beta, Beta is there to test for bugs and test game mechanics and is always subject to changes.
It might still be fun to fiddle with builds now, but yeah, these builds will just represent a snapshot in time during a point in development whan many changes are to be expected.
I'm sure someone from the press will give the full skill and trait rundown again for this beta, when the press embargo lifts later this morning. I have a feeling that the changes we do see vs. the last press beta will highlight your point. It will still be interesting to get some idea what the developers are thinking.

Already saw them and I'm really looking forward to the potential to build making the Trait system has, because I doubt there will only be a few viable builds, when I look at this and see how the Traits merely augement your playstyle. But I won't get too attached to these Traits, because ArenaNet sure loves iterating.
Yea still it is nice to know that you have above 50 trait line specs. Assuming that you put points into a line to get a trait: 0-20-30-20-0, 5-5-10-30-20, 30-30-5-5-0, and so on. I can see many different spec working that have the same goal in mind (dps/control/support). 4 different ways to dps: damage, crit, critical conditions, and conditions. Many ways to support with defensive or offensive boons. Different types of control builds: one for taking hits, debuffing to reduce damage, debuffing to effect movement. This many specs are hard to balance but I heard that GW2 has less specs when compared to GW1.
