I just gave up playing and wanted to give you my impressions of the game.
The focus of the game to me is Pvp and the ability to fly from dragons in combat. On the top of evey hour they open the pvp que to all players from each side. If your not one of the first 10 players from your side to click in you will not get in. The que stays open for 10 minutes but forget it if your not clicking in at the top of the hour.
The chance to fly a dragon is another big draw for me. The chance of getting a dragon is very long and drawn out. At level 7 you get a quest for an eqq and relic that you must build loyality with before you can get a chance to hatch the eqq. You equip your eqq in a special pet slot and start killing monsters and feeding it loot items that drop off the mobs. How you feed an eqq a piece of armor .. well I will leave that to the smarter players. Once you feed enough items to get 100 percent loyality for your eqq and relic you buy a scroll , go to an special priest NPC and pay him 1 gold to see if the eqq will hatch. If it doesn't hatch you get to start all over again. I got luck others didn't. Congrats you how have an immature dragon.
Now begins the grind, To get your dragon to mature you need to feed it other pets/mounts that you buy in the game and raise to higher levels by first getting this crap boar or goat to 100 percent loyality mated with another goat/boar that is also 100 percent loyality with a scroll you buy from a mount trainer. If your confused so are many new players. Each higher level mount that you mate/feed or combine to get the next higher level requires more farming of items to build up 100 percent loyality before you can make an attempt to mate them.
Why have a game about Dragons that you will not be able to fly or use till your max level in the game or sink a ton of cash.
My final sugestion to the developers is to allow players to use the dragon as a flying pet at an earily level for transportion to the far away zones you must cross. I spent too much time going back and forth(I was a metal smith) to the bank to drop off what I had harvested. They should allow the players to pick the kind of dragon they want to develop as it levels. Noone has yet made a mature dragon they could use but I heard the final dragon was a gold dragon.
Inventory and bank space are way to small. I wish they would double the size they allow. Not a game breaker but just a thought.
To me both prblems are game breakers. I hope they take my advice and redesign the game.

I agree that the game has a bit much grinding.
They really need to reduce the amount of exp required to level up.
Just watched a YouTube Video, and saw a level 19 mounted on a dragon. So it is possible to attain them, probably takes some cash shop items. That is how they limt the in game number and make them rare. It is probably doable by f2p accounts just take more time, effort, and loot. The feature list states that it also has Open World PvP so the 10 v 10 battle ground is not your only option.
Boy: Why can't I talk to Him?
Mom: We don't talk to Priests.
As if it could exist, without being payed for.
F2P means you get what you paid for. Pay nothing, get nothing.
Even telemarketers wouldn't think that.
It costs money to play. Therefore P2W.
i believe they increased the region war thing, didn't they?
I happen to think the exp rate is fine. This isn't WoW
I guess you guys haven't played real grinding games..
That was a Bloodbat, not a dragon. Dragons you have to be 39 to mount and there are only 2 or 3 so far in the game.
+1 to that *old-school Lineage II player speaking*
I just downloaded RODE and am currently instsalling it just because it seems a fun grinding game. And riding on a dragon on 'higher levels' seems just too cool. Eeven when the % is very low to get one. I managed to level up striders and greater wolfs/genrir's in Lineage II, so getting a dragon in RODE should not be too hard
