With every new title, there is a new promise of innovation. This is a lie!
I feel that everything that can be done in an mmo, has already been done. Now games are simply a mix and match of systems and sub systems. This type of combat, or that. This type of crafting or that. This type of quest gathering or that. Housing or no housing. Fanatsy or Sci-fi... Etc.
Given the current state of technology, nothing revolutionary can be added to the mix.
The sky is falling and Golden Era has long past.
