One thing I've noticed about Guild Wars 2 but not heard anyones opinion about is the Fall speed, to me It is extremly fast and first time I saw It I was like 'WTF just happened'. I suppose this speed is more realistic, but it just feels weird as I'm pretty used to wow, which has pretty slow falling speed.

for an example, 1 jump at around 1 min and the other is at the end. I dunno I don't see an issue with it, seems about the same speed as other games.
well if you are going to die by falling, might as well make it as quick as possible. That way you have less time thinking about your impending death
Are you suggesting that they should copy the fall speed from WoW? No thanks.
Nothing wrong with a realistic fallingspeed...
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
It's definitely different.
Is different bad?
Not sure that I think so.
It's consistent between the other portrayals of gravity in the game. So it works for me.
City of Heroes had great fall speed. Nothing like jumping off the top of a tall building and accellerating toyour death (almost).
In wow, sometimes you could spin as you fall (assuming you are on a cliff next to a wall) and counter a bunch of the falling damage.
