Really I have no clue if it will work or not; so I'm just trying to get some expert opinions.

Guild wars 2 specs are not that high guild wars 2 actually uses a heaveliy modified guild wars one engine and havok for effects so if it can run wow at max now pretty sure you can run guild wars 2. You may have to upgrade the graphics card if you wanna run at like super max settings but that systems will allow you to play it.
WoW specs are really low. i can run WoW on ultra but barely meet the minimum specs of GW2.
I've got the straight edge.
To OP:
You can check if you will be able to run it using http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/
They have now implemented Guild Wars 2 to check if u meet req.
Hope that helps
From what I read on their site you should be fine. They have very low spec requirements as has been duly noted. Beautiful game though from what I have seen of it.
Ballerinas are always on their toes. Why don't they just get taller ballerinas?
Is there an option to manually input my stuff? because when I use that site it doesn't tell me much about computers I'm thinking of ordering. If it does that would be awesome.
Thanks all...I may order this today. I'll wait for a few more people to weigh in to see if anyone thinks it wont work.
You are a liar or you don't know what your talking about!
Yeah, but beta clients usually have some stuff running in the background to check for issues and aren't optimized like a released game. I betatested a lot of games and they all ran better when they were released than just after they started the beta testing.
So you could possibly use it as a worst scenario, if you can run the beta you will be able to run the finnished game but it is not a measure stock for what system actually will run the finnished product. And that goes for all games BTW, not just GW2.
OP: Yeah, it can run it (at low) but I still have to recommend that you change the GFX card, it is really crap. And the PSU is not something would put in my computer either. Upgrade those 2 parts and it should run it fine at medium settings at least.
With some luck can you get one better GFX card by asking your friends who just upgraded, someone usually does and with the new Nvidia card out you have a good chanse one of your friends just did or will soon. A second hand GFX card is always a risk if you buy it but chanses are that your friend would just throw it away and sell it for a really small sum or just gives it away to you.
I think you should put a little more money into the system, for $500 you can get one that will run it a lot better at medium+ settings instead. Particularly if you plan to PvP in the mists since that will be where you will use most power.
Buying a "temporary" computer that you're going to replace in a month is a huge waste of money. If you have the money to get a nice gaming computer, and what you're using right now isn't as good as even a modern cheap junk computer, then just buy the gaming computer now. Ivy Bridge isn't going to be that big of a deal in desktops. Maybe 10% more performance for the same price, if that.
The question is "Can this" computer run GW2. I do understand that upgrading things, and doing it another way is more viable, but can THIS computer run GW2 Quiz?
Hrm, cant you post details on the forums instead of giving a spyware redirect ? im sure its not intended but the link you provived uses a redirect service from viglink.com, it adds junk to youre browser and tracks youre movements for ad uses.

Run as opposed to what? As opposed to spontaneously combusting? Probably, but not necessarily. Diablotek power supplies are pretty bad, so there's a decent chance that it will fry something. As best as I can tell, the case doesn't have any fans at all, which is an overheating problem waiting to happen. ECS motherboards are liable to cause all sorts of weird problems, too. Llano is extremely dependent on memory bandwidth, and you'd be leaving a memory channel completely vacant, but that's only a "cripples your performance" type of problem, not a "dead hardware" type of problem.
And then will you have any parts that are salvagable for a new computer? Taking the optical drive will probably let you skip buying another one for $17 or so. 1333 MHz memory with no heatspreader has its uses, but probably isn't for you if you're waiting for Ivy Bridge in a new machine. The hard drive could be salvageable if the plan is to get an SSD in the new computer and ~230 GB of bulk hard drive storage is the right amount for you. The OS license notably will not be reusable, and that's another $100 right there. And even reusing those parts assumes that the power supply doesn't fry them first.
I honestly can't think of any conceivable situation for which buying that combo would make sense.
So if everything works, will it make the game playable? Maybe. It's likely that you'd have better luck with putting $100 into upgrading the computer you're using to post on this forum. Speaking of which, what do you have now?
Odds are Ivy Bridge will be out before GW2 ships anyway. Why buy an "interim" system when your final system will be available before the game is out?
As a side note - your combo deal has a DiabloTek power supply. That's probably less safe than a 1974 Pinto with an extra gas can strapped to the rear bumper.
As-is, that system won't run GW2 without terrible frame rates. You would need to purchase a low end video card for $30-100 (depending on just how low end you want to go). Then you're going to run into problems with that power supply--bad brand, low wattage, and it's bundled with the cheap case. If you don't have the money for Ivy Bridge right now and absolutely need a rig, consider saving up a bit more money for a better barebones kit. An Athlon x3 bundled with a 450/500w PSU can sometimes be had on tigerdirect for slightly more, which should allow installation of a low end graphics card. The Athlon x3's can also be unlocked to Phenom x4's. If you have the money right now, wait until Ivy Bridge comes out. You should see them out at the later part of this month. If they're too expensive, then try to make a build with a Sandy Bridge i3 for cheap. From what I've read, IB is going to use the same LGA1155 socket as its predecessor (I'm not 100% sure, so fact check me on this). If this is the case, that means you can easily upgrade from an i3 SB to an i5/i7 IB.
I'd suggest shoving the following in your cart and seeing how much it costs:
LGA1155 mobo (I would suggest 8x/8x for a nice upgrade path, but 16x/4x will do)
i3 2100
650w + PSU, depending on what you want your final system to look like.
A budget mid size case
A single card; 6870+ or 560 ti + (make sure that your card corresponds to your mobos Crossfire/SLI Capabilities)
Hard Drive--take a 7200 with low capacity over a 5400 with high capacity
Optical Drive
4 GB RAM
If you have any of the above components available for salvage, then do so.
Then when you have the money, you can hit this guy with some upgrades:
Ivy Bridge
Crossfire or SLI
Aftermarket heatsink
Additional cooling
Solid State Drive
4 GB more RAM
If you go this route, consider buying an i3 2100 used on eBay. That way you don't lose too much when you sell it back.
That's just my 2 cents.
buy the bundle of six core in tiguerdirect if what your trying to buy for running gw2 and save lot of money but that bundle is crap and never buy that amd mix whit card buy all separated that amd kind of processor ur posting in the link was a fail but still buy six core bundle for 500$ its worth it
This is not a good deal. Just assemble your own, if your not sure what goes well together just ask on the forums.
