Where you started, where your going

Just curious as I have met people that have ended up in the MMORPG genre from so many different generations of the genre, who became intrigued due to so many different games.

1. What game got you started in MMORPG's
2. How log have you been playing them
3. What MMORPG have you played the longest
4. What are you playing now
5. What MMORPG are you anticipating the most.

For me:

1. Original EQ
2. End of 1999
3. EQ, second runner up WoW
4. DDO Online, Vanguard
5. GW2, however I do not belive it will be the be all end all. However I think it will be an interesting diversion for awhile.

I started with UO.

I didn't become intrigued with so many new games, I became disenfranchised.

Where I'm going? Away. I barely hang around anywhere anymore. Just here and at Raph Koster's blog, once in a while to see what's going on. I get in the mood to give the Themepark mercenaries something to derail every so often, and that's the extent of my participation in MMO's.

I can understand that. I find that I have to take breaks due to feeling "disenfranchised".Ordinarily I am put in a position where I cant play any due to professional reasons though, so when I come back I hop around alot to see whats changed in the industry. Then return to a couple of older ones.
