I guess your right, if drops mean nothing in GW2 then it really doesn't matter what's in thier CS. Weird that they would want you buy the keys though if that's the case. They seem to have a shop like EQ2 does.

As far as NA TERA goes, when they have a CS I'll let you know how I feel about it lol. Most assuredly, if TERA has a CS with any P2W items it will be when a F2P model is introduced.

Just not worth my time anymore.

Yea I found it was weird how they want you to buy keys when you can with some time get a golem to open those chests in game.

Well fuck I assume  that makes the keys...

I might get banned for this. - Rizel Star.

I'm not afraid to tell trolls what they [need] to hear, even if that means for me to have an forced absence afterwards.

P2P LOGIC = If it's P2P it means longevity, overall better game, and THE BEST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!(Which has been rinsed and repeated about a thousand times)

Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.

Not sure, I don't play the Korean version. Even if so it's EME's choice how they want to run TERA over here, that's why I don't care.

Just not worth my time anymore.

Yes, there just no box price in KTera however it is more expansive per month.

Not sure how you're paying for the subscription, but my KTera subscription only cost $9.99 and that included the broker fee.

I really like TERA, but we haven't played GW2 yet, so we can't make that conclusion.

Tried Tera Online when someone gave me a closed beta key and did not like it one bit. Everything was just too clunky.

I tried the beta, the game felt fluid.. I doubt TERA will be a 'sleeper hit' it might exceed the expectations of the average retard. (70% of MMO users)

The game won't be a hit because most western mmo gamers are sick of grinding...

It looks like a really polished and well done game, with many nice features but people are too burned out of mmo grinds.

    Sick of grinding? MMO grinds?

Could you pretty please tell us what isn't a grind in MMOs?

Now. the the topic at hand. Games with to much hype will always fail. Games with little expectation will usually surprise us.

I will do my best to not be biased because i am a huge fan of what Tera offers in gameplay. Do I think its the savior of mmos. No i do not.

Tera is going to be a huge success because it is different. What is different? The combat (obvious).

Why is it good? Well this is an opinion. I love monster hunter type games. Now i get one in mmo form! I can either play this casually and farm a few BAM every day as I would on a console type monster hunter or i can engross in it like an mmo. Though a monthly fee might not cater to the casual. The gameplay in tera fits very well for a casual player imo.

If you are looking for Tera to consume your no life soul. I do not think this game has enough to offer in content to last most of us past the 6 month mark but that is just opinion and we do not know how far bluehole will be pushing data. I know en masse will be demanding a lot from them. They really love there Tera game.

Why Tera will be my #1 game. It runs and looks more beautiful then any game ive ever seen. Eyefinity with perfect UI manipulation for my 3 monitor gaming. ZOMG FUN COMBAT!!! (a bit slow at low lvls, depending on class). En Masse. If you are a regular on forums or have had to submit a ticket to En Masse then you understand. They are amazing. I wish trion and en masse had babies to make our future gaming companies. They are my 2 favs. They take there game seriously and always have someone on the forums patrolling. Which I love!

Anyway thats just me killing a little time at work.

For those that love Tera! Yay us! For those that don't! May you find a game that fits you!

Have to agree 100% especially the bit about gfx, submitting tickets..both are amazing..i really like the combat as well..i normally use a mouse to target the mobs(i,m not a great gamer.) but this game is actually teaching me to be a better gamer.having to use the keys all the time.i just love it alround.

Just another gear grind MMO. It might sell a lot of copies but doubt it'll have more than 200k subs after 4 months.

Or as I call it... The One True Game(tm).  No game can EVER manage to match all of the projections, expectations, and hype that people pile on to it. Its just not possible.  Thus the One True Game(tm) will always be just beyond the horizon, always glittering and gleaming in peoples fevered imaginations, and always expected to "save" us all from the current crop of warmed over clones of this, that and the other.

The word "grind" has been in curse word in MMOs for a while now.  I think any MMO where better gear makes you more powerful is a "gear grind".  It's the method of that grinding and what variations it comes in that's important.  TERA will surprise you in that regard.

Just not worth my time anymore.

Tera's endgame will revolve around Open World PvP, the Political System, and possibly chrono-scroll farming.  Three aspects completely unique to Tera, so it will definitely not be in the same boat as other MMOs that only focused solely on raiding.  Also thanks to the Queen of the Argon's patch we are going to get endgame Rifts, which are always fun.  I'm sad they took away BGs at launch but I can't wait to see what they will do with the improved BGs EME has really done an excellant job of Tera's content thus far.

I've been burned by MMO developers so many times, I'm glad to finally play a game that isn't actively trying to bait and switch me or nickel and dime my gameplay experience.
