No I think you get billed immediately for the game. The monthly subscription billing doesn't start till your free month is up though.

If through EME then I believe they charge right away but you automatically get entered in the early events.

Amazon doesn't charge until it ships just make sure you get a second email with your code inside.

Gamestop charges 5.00 up front but again, make sure those knuckleheads give you a code lol.

Truth, I was billed immediately for the game and saw it on my statement recently.
