Mystical Odour looking for fresh smelling stinkies!
The Red Eclipse (EU) on the Republic Side.
Mystical Odour is a guild that has a long history. The guild it-self started way back in 2005 not long after the release of World of Warcraft. Well, actually the guild existed under a different name before that doing different types of games but as a MMORPG guild we started in 2005.
We have been going strong since 2005 killing bosses in end-game content in World of Warcraft. We have also tried other MMO games that was released, but nothing have really been interesting enough for us to really make an effort until now.
The guild has a good mix of personalities across many countries, gender and age. We tend to take raiding somewhat seriously. But there is a difference between taking raiding seriously and taking ourselves seriously.
With the release of Star Wars The Old Republic we plan to spread our seven year old stank from piling up pizza boxes and coke bottles, and bring it across all corners of the Galaxy.
We are currently raiding Hardmodes in 16man and progressing onto Nightmare 16man mode for the T1 Content and progressing through Story Mode of the T2 Content. We have cleared the T1 Content on Nightmare 8man but due to our decline in raider's due to quiting and not telling us this cause an affect to leave us with a tight 16man team.
Currently we are recruiting the following roles:
Tank: 2
Healer: 2
DPS: 4
(The reason for the prefer's is because of the high amount of people that play that class.)
Other than that, we always want some great personalities and players to join our ranks. You can always make an application as a social member. Don't hesitate! Go put in that application.

So what can this smelly guild offer you?
A stable and comfortable guild with a long track record
A nice and friendly atmosphere. But discipline during Operations/Raids.
Organized events with fixed raiding days.
We strive to create a culture of desire on boss kills and progress instead of loot in a mature but funny raiding guild atmosphere.
An active international forum and community
A Scottish guy that leads the raids.
What do we expect of you?
Personalities are just as important as skills. We want both!
A lot of determination to down that boss even though we wipe for days in a row.
In-depth knowledge about your class and general game mechanics.
You are able to follow orders in raids and take constructive criticism.
You are above the age of eighteen or act as though you are. Well, our humor will be way below that, but still.
You are ready to raid at least 2 to 3 raiding days a week. This might increase based on the addiction that grows internally in the guild.
You love pink (not really necessary, my prefer blue.)
You are a bit mental

Due to a few people failing their trails and some breaking the Code of Conduct I had to widen the Opens spots.
Pfft except for the titles didnt you pretty much copy that splurge from a guild called dystopia, I remember cause I nearly applied to them.
I am interested to know how people broke their code of conduct thats where the story is.
This whole post is from the Guild forums that was written by the Old GM of Mystical Odour, Also to pin point this, I was in Dystopia (if your refering to Rift,) and left after the new leadership was passed over to them. So I don't know how this is anythign like Dystopia's Recruitment post when I was the Dystopia Recruitment Officer in Rift and now am the Recruitment Officer in Mystical which is a compeltely different guild that has nothing to do with that lot. :P
Sorry for offeneding you if I "copy" my own stuff?
Also breaking the Code of Conduct was simple, they were being abusive, swearing and all that stuff to people outside the guild and disrespect the guilds name on the server in PvP, Social Events or PvE pug's, this lead to a warning then to a formal kick after they continued it. But that was only about 2 to 3 people, more just applied joined for a week and quit the game.
