[Deviant] is a guild founded by a group of friends who have gamed together both IRL and online for years. We’re all experienced online gamers and have bounced around and organized groups and events for games like WoW, LoL, Guild Wars, and Starcraft, among others.
As a whole, we are a working / family oriented guild: we focus our efforts, play times, and scheduled in-game events keeping in mind that many of our members have full or part-time jobs, attend college, and/or have families to take care of. With careful planning, we have been able to successfully run content while including as many of our members and their interests as possible in past games, and plan to continue this ideal in Guild Wars 2.
We have a strong focus on acceptance. We are a multi-cultural, all-inclusive guild and have strict policies regarding hateful and abusive language in regards to sexuality, race, religious beliefs, and gender. We want to provide a home where all our members can be comfortable being who they are without fear of backlash or judgement.
But overall we are laid back and mature while still being fun and engaging to spend time with. All of our prospective officers have had previous guild leading and event coordinating experience for both PvE and PvP in multiple games and genres.
