NA vs EU servers

almalexiusalmalexius Member UncommonPosts: 180

I played the beta this weekend and i enjoyed it. I guess i played on the NA servers allthough i didn't pay much attention to it. I just found a site, downloaded the game and played. It was en masse though.

Across forums i see a lot of topics about Frogster and how they are have messed up games and they will mess up this as well.

Will they let european's choose where to play?

Will it be possible to switch from NA to EU servers or will this be an entirely different download?

Any euro's here that already decided to go for the NA servers? I mean could be less than ideal because of the time difference when trying to group?

Different clients but with no ip block.  If you buy the NA version then you can only play on the NA servers and vice versa.

Cheers! Seems like many european players will go with En Masse.

originally i purchased the US version by mistake and En Masse gave me a refund.i decided because of time difference to go with frogster.i didnt come across any problems at all in beta over weekend apart from appaling area chat channel which i expect was down to trolls etc.so time will tell if i made a mistake or not.i am hoping the EU community turns out to be good.

I played on the NA servers, Im from eastern europe, with no lag and no issues.

Only bad thing that happened was the gold/powerlevel spam guy that kept it going for hours, even though LOTS of player reported him. (you can right click their name and report gold spam etc). no GM bothered to do anything but there is also a block function so its no biggie. Overall it was a decent experience.

Frogster has a bad reputation in EU so if I decide to buy the game I will probably go with the NA version. (also cheaper? not sure).

Only thing Im worried about is the BOT invasion and if GMs will do anything about it fast enough.

It ruined L2 and a few other games for me so if i smell bots ill pass.

I came across the spam guy too but there was only one tbh and i blocked him so he couldn't bother me. I guess spam is something we have to live with as MMORPG ers.
