Ranged Heals/DPS?

I'm just DL'ing the client and wanted to ask those of you who have played a bit.

 

I normally like playing a ranged healer/DPS hybrid: Chloromancer in Rift, Archmage in WAR, Sorcerer in SWTOR, etc.

 

I'm looking at Priest or Mystic...

 

What's the basic difference between the two? As I see it, it looks like the Priest is just straight-up Healer/DPS and Mystics have a lot of extra utility with lesser heals and less DPS... is that about right?

    I played both till level 11. I like the Mystic better as he has a companion and heals and DPS. My pick so far. I'm playing a Lancer, now, little tougher for me.
