I just read about this on IGN:
http://filmforce.ign.com/bond/articles/591/591091p1.html
Even though the "Brosnan Era" has been a little lackluster compared to older Bond films, I can't help but be excited about the next one! I didn't even know of the existence of Casino Royale until that article!
So... let's base our poll on that IGN article. Clive Owen or Daniel Craig?

Sean was always my fave. The man was just too cool in his day. All new bonds have to live up to him. I honestly did like Timothy dalton for his two entries, but he never caught on.
Hugh jackman would make an awesome bond, he'd have an edge others didnt. a not quite so politically correct bond is what the world needs.
......... metal gear solid is great game series and all, but i really really dont think it will do so well.
just because it will be considered just another spy movie, as most spy movies are considered if there not bond films. the only real exception i can think of is the bourne series, spy movies that arent bond dont really sell as well as ones that are and training day was sucessful and all, but not half as sucessful as the earlier bond films. besides my X and Is first date was toa bond film, i think it was goldeneye, the point is u can take dates to bond films and other spy movies dont go over so well.

training day, manchurian canadiate(original has many elements of spy film not the new denzel version, but it isnt pure spy7 film), theres a bunch of 60s cold war ones that my dad forced me to watch but none were that high of quality.
but the fact we have to think of other spy films besides bond kind of proves the point but ill think and sleep on it( as much as an insomniac ever does) and post sometime tommorow.

Jude Law will play Bond, as he has starred in every other film that past year and a half .
I agree with whoever said Hugh Jackman should be the next bond.
But if we're picking between Clive Owen and Daniel Craig. I'd say Clive Owen.

doubtful hugh jackman would be bond, his voice is all wrong, and he isnt as clean cut as the others. now he would be perfect to play solid snake in a metal gear solid movie. i think clive owen fits the part pretty well.
U cant say hugh jackman has the wrong voice, because he can be suave watch kate and leopold. its just he is usually cast as the rougher character. he did a great job in kate and leopoldn( a chick flick my gf forced me to see), and it proved to me he could be bond. Besides any actor Versatile enough to both star in chick flicks, vampire films, and comic book films is talented.

Pierce Brosnon himself is on record saying he prefers
Colin Salmon
to be the next James Bond.
But like Vampyre said on page 1, Brosnan is still able-bodied enough to continue doing Bond. He just needs much better scripts.
Best line in a Bond movie:
British Guy: "Bond! Whatever are you doing?!?!?"
Sean Conery aka Bond: "Why, keeping the British end UP!"
(I can't believe that line was allowed. But hey, they did have a female character named... Pussy Galore )
