Hi folks. I ordered my copy of TERA through Zavvi, mainly because of the early access code. However, since I don't live in the UK I still want to get my copy locally to play ASAP so can anyone confirm whether the early access will remain valid or not after I cancel?

When you cancel a preorder with EME at least, they cancel your subscription and when you try to log in it pops up telling you you need to buy the game. So yes, it locks you out.

Thanks. EME/Frogster de-activating your account access makes sense if you buy it from them directly, but I do wonder how it works with the actual retailers.
From how I understand it the pre-order access code will still remain linked until you enter the full game code, the only thing is the actual game will be unaccessable until the code is entered. So if the game delivery is late from the retailers all the goods will still be available in game once activated.
Just to add to this - The pre-order code will still remain active regardless if you cancel the Zavvi pre-order and decide to buy the box elsewhere. So you should be perfectly fine.
Thanks a lot Thrennie! The main thing I'm concerned with is that Frogster doesn't seem to have a clear answer on whether there will be a grace period for boxed orders or not. I'll just cancel my Zavvi order then and get it from a local shop.
I know what you mean.
I've heard they may be giving some leeway... And then they seem to contradict that in their statement later where they say you can only play if you enter the code on the 4th. So I think you're doing the best thing in buying it locally to be on the safe side.
Anyhow, good luck in game!
