Ha! Makes me kinda glad I have to work and can't begin playing until at least 5pm PDT. Maybe they'll have some of these more major issues solved by the time I get on.
Although, I do kinda wish I was going through the heartache of gettting kicked off the game because it means I'd be off work! lol

Ok, I know this is stupid, but the 3 times I got into char selection I had the game alt tabbed while connecting, and now on 3rd time I alt tabbed after pressing "play" and it finally logged into the world while alt tabbed.
Seems I may have an outdated client, I'm still getting error codes like 9:4:5:1093 - not simply 4 or 5. Where did you guys pickup your client?
Same: 42:0:9001 etc
edit: Also black screened after char creation here. Might have had to do with some servers going down when we were at it.
Couldn't even get my task manager running so had to reboot manually.

Had exactly the same problem DarkPony. The keyboard is key. I was able to scroll through the programs on task manager and close GW2 with alt-E. Not that that matters really.
Mainly replied to you to just say 'I love your sig!'.
What's the exact errors you guys are having at the moment?
I am at login getting:
"Unable to connect to a login server. This could be cause by an Internet routing issue.
If the problem persists, please visit our support website. (Code=58:11:2:1064:101)"
Got another one before that though, and this one pops up much faster.
I'm getting the same ones. The other one would be
"Unable to complete operation.
Please try again in a few minutes.
(Code=42:0:9001:3858:101)"
The one I quoted idd does take a lot longer to pop up.
Ah ok, I guess most of us are in the same boat. We just need to have some patience for the server gerbils to end their strike.
If you get that network error i think you need to restart the client, when i do i get another error a few times and then i get the network error again until i relaunch the game. I may be wrong though so if it does not help 1st time its probably just the server. Was annoying to relaunch the game all the time

Been able to reach char seelction twice, but always greeted by "unable to complete operation" when trying to play.
I'm alternating between 2 different client installs I have, placebo effect ftw.

Login server down or restart your client (takes 2 seconds anyway)

You have to restart client when you get this error.
Snap.
It seems to rotate the codes. One minute I'll get code=42:0:9001:3858:101.
Then on the next try I get code=58:11:2:1064:101.
The code is mocking me too. It says lol at the end. It's laughing at me because I can't play GW2.

As I said in my post, try alt tabbing out while connecting, for some reason it worked for me.

From the looks of things it seems the EU servers are much worse setup then the US servers.

It's also saying 9001 in the first one. That's over 9000. And also a 42, which is the answer to the ultimate question of everything.
