Ubuntu linux users?

Hey all I've heard great (almost too good to be true..) things about Ubuntu and was wondering if anyone here at mmorpg.com uses it or has tried it?

I tried SuSE a while back and it was such a nightmare I gave up on linux thinking better a M$ user than a linux noob... but even I forsee trouble ahead with thousands of unpatched pirated M$ machines not getting updates ::::04::

    Well, Ive been looking for linux OS for a new months for my new AMD 64 machine. I would also like to know whether this is worthwhile, I'll dual-boot with this and MS.

    Yeah it was a buddy with a AMD 64 that told me to give it a go, he says its running very ******g well atm, think he is in love tbh ::::12:: can't remember the last time he was so excited.....

    I'm going to give it a go even though I have just finished a clean instal of XP, I'd be interested in hearing how well others fare with Ubuntu (might keep me trying lol).
